19 The Square, V31 RD93, Listowel
Been here?
Quiet riverside parking in Listowel, a 1min walk from the town centre, restaurants and shops. The entrance is narrow and opposite the end of the church, facing Listowel Castle, but recent overnight stays were peaceful, including with a 7.5m vehicle. There is a riverside dog-walking path and a small litter bin.

Parked here for the night, we're 7.5m so parked at the back on the left when we arrived late afternoon. It emptied out completely overnight, we had a very peaceful night and it was still completely empty when we left at 8.30am. Lovely riverside walk with the dogs, also a small litter bin on the walk.
Great stop here !!! Very quiet night. Easy to park with our campervan Ducato 6m.
We arrived yesterday evening. At first we thought, great. We took a walk on the nearby path and discovered a factory on the other side of the river. The noise continued. At dinner, we had some rather suspicious-looking cars coming and going... so we left. What a shame...Translating
Narrow access, but a very quiet parking area close to shops and the river. Festivities are planned from May 31 to June 2, 2025.Translating
Small quiet spot beside the water, at the back of the parking area, and close to shops. Quiet night, we were alone in the parking area.Translating
Great stop if you have dogs as is right beside a fabulous river walk and is centrally located. Like others have said the entrance can be tricky to find. It is located down a narrow laneway beside Listowel Castle. Putting this destination into navigation should get you to the right lane way.
Nice quiet location, river walk and shops bars etc nearby . carpark fairly busy daytime but empty overnight.
Struggled to find the entrance to this site. Initial directions took us to the next car park where recycling point is. Had a walk, found the entrance to site opposite the theatre that looks like a church. Much better spot for the dog. Have added photo of opposite entrance. Had a very quiet night. No problems. Lovely walk. Friendly locals.
Comfortable parking for one night. Central location. Very easy for exploring the town.Translating
Not bad, quiet because it is a little out of the way, not beautiful but practical. The FERRY parking area 15 minutes away is a bit nicer (we saw it the next day!).Translating
Excellent spot but the GPS isn't accurate. We stayed at the free car park next to the GPS spot as we couldn't find the one mentioned. Still a great place. Quiet, safe, and just a few minutes walk from town. No facilities.
