Quiet riverside site, flood-prone grass

There are 2 showers here. One at the front and one at the rear of the block

Very nice area, clean and quiet, with 3 toilets and only one shower (we are on holiday, we have time). An area like we would like to find elsewhere. Reasonable price.✦Translating

Quiet area; pitches are paved or on grass; 2 of the 3 toilets are working; 1 shower/toilet/washbasin for now… more are planned soon at the back of the building, along with a washing-up sink. Very hot water… no shops except a cheesemonger and a chocolatier… cycle paths beyond the community hall.✦Translating

Clean area! But what a surprise when we arrived: the electricity service was out of order, even though we paid for it. There was no information about this. Disappointing.✦Translating

Beautiful, quiet area with large pitches. Showers and toilets available at this time of year, just a little dated. The same applies to the disposal point, which is somewhat rudimentary. We spent one peaceful night here.✦Translating

Hello, still under construction. Be careful where you drive, as there is a risk of getting stuck... Nice place, but unfortunately there is an odour from the nearby sewage treatment plant. Village without life and no shops. A little expensive for the location, like many Camping-Car Park sites unfortunately. Kind regards.✦Translating

We left the area because an excavator and a truck arrived to modify some pitches, replacing grass with paved surfaces and reducing the risk of getting stuck. The area is sometimes flooded during heavy rain.✦Translating

As a precaution, and as indicated on the site, we parked on the paved area rather than on the grass. Quiet area for an overnight stop. Bakery for sale, a very retro artisan chocolatier that is worth a visit, and a bar-restaurant serving good Portuguese food.✦Translating

8 and 9 January 2025 — A probably peaceful place, but my night was quickly cut short by the heavy rain! A period to avoid here! The Thouet overflowed in the middle of the night, and water got into my motorhome (the living area and storage compartment were flooded…) Apparently this was not the first time. It is a shame that nothing was indicated on site or in the app, apart from the comments.✦Translating

Municipal campsite, quiet, with hard-standing and grassy areas, pitches close together. Sanitary facilities are available. Near the football stadium, and you can walk around with your pets. No washing machine, but we would come back.✦Translating

Great place to spend the night. Safe, with entry barrier. Very quiet village approached with speed bumps that can be hazardous to low chassis motorhomes. Bakery closed down. Everything on the site worked fine. It was previously a camp site but the shower and sanitary block was totally closed, as this is not part of the Camping Car Park’s usual facilities.

One of our favourite places. Some pitches are prohibited because of the risk of getting stuck due to repeated periods of heavy rain.✦Translating

Stayed here on 2nd Sept, for a very pleasant stay, Toilets and showers available. A very good place to stop over when travelling through. A good Camping Car Aire

very good all round,clean toilets,clean shower very well looked after a great little town with a baker 5 min walk would definitely stay again
