2 Buchholz, 6473, Silenen
Been here?
Small pull-in beside a cantonal road at the foot of the mountain near Silenen, close to a river and highway across the valley. Free drinking water runs from a fountain, and there are bins. Space for only 2-3 vehicles on flat ground, others slope; road and river noise are audible but most report a calm night. Easy walking to the river and local hiking trails.

Small signs saying campers are forbidden...
Very good spot at the foot of the mountain for one night, fairly quiet and with a drinking-water fountain available.
There is no water and nothing to activate it.
Quite good for one night while passing through.
Fantastic place to stay overnight. If you are there on Saturday night into Sunday, make sure you leave by 9:00. Churchgoers start arriving then and you will be blocked in.
Nice little parking area for one night, with a short walk down below near the river.
Overnight spot for a maximum of 3 campers. Close to the river and a fairly busy road, so there is still noise at night (especially from the river). There is drinking water from a fountain, rubbish bins, and a little path towards the river where you can relieve yourself outdoors. No equipped motorhome facilities.
Perfect stop off next to church. Has Free running drinking water! Located next to river and far enough away from the motorway. Parked the van there and did a hike up the local mountain came back the next day with no problem. Safe and easy! Highly recommend
Quiet place with rubbish bins and a drinking-water tap available. We had a good night's sleep.
Excellent parking area for spending the night. Close to the motorway exit. Quiet place, near the river.
If you want to sleep and wake up to beautiful views, this place is ideal. Personally, traffic does not bother me, and despite being next to the road, hardly any cars pass. I spent a perfect night here, and it is easy to find.
Magnificent place to spend the night. Very quiet despite the nearby cantonal road. My little daughter loved riding around on her little bike as soon as she woke up.
