Been here?
A large campsite between forest and sea, with a small beach and a bus to Aarhus stopping directly outside; the ride to the centre takes 10 minutes. Staff are friendly, but pitches can be uneven, narrow or tightly spaced, and the sanitary facilities are dated and recently reported as unclean. The setting is attractive, with ocean views, woodland and cycling access. E-bike theft has been reported, and secure storage is offered at reception.

The campsite is in a very beautiful location. The staff are very friendly. However, the site does not deserve more stars because the sanitary facilities are showing their age and, unfortunately, were not clean. In the men's facilities there was also a strong smell of urine. However, there are no alternatives for anyone wanting to visit Aarhus.
Beware: if you have valuables, I do not recommend camping here because there are many thefts of electric bicycles. The thieves are very well organized and have everything under control; it does not matter whether you have locks or a dog, they steal them every night, and reception does nothing because they say it is a municipal campsite and the town hall does nothing. Otherwise, the campsite is very well located and beautiful.
A beautiful site in itself, right on the beach. However, the genuinely outdated sanitary facilities were not always clean; at times it smelled of urine in the men’s toilets. Unfortunately, the bread rolls from the bread-roll service were also bone-dry. Perhaps it was because of the high season, as the site was completely booked. For the price, more should be included. But because of its proximity to Aarhus, it is too good not to stop here.
Very large site with different types of pitches. Friendly reception. Some areas are very tightly packed. Small pebbly beach. Levelling blocks necessary, as some areas are uneven. Beautiful green forest all around, and Aarhus is easily reachable by bike or bus. Many dogs. Sanitary facilities okay, but somewhat insufficient for the number of campers. A long cable is sometimes necessary for electricity. Bicycle theft has recently occurred.
Super cozy camp site within a forest area. Camp site is located right next to the ocean. Staff is super friendly. Camp site is clean. We had a nice spot with ocean view and spend one and a half weeks there. Definitely a place we are going to come back for.
Great place if you want to visit Aarhus. The bus stops in front of the campsite and runs every hour, taking you to the centre in 10 minutes. Large campsite with differences in elevation; whether you get a nice pitch depends quite a bit on the spot. We had a lovely quiet place under the trees (106). Nearer the sea, you are packed in quite tightly. The campsite is nice for a maximum of 2–3 nights. Pebble beach by the campsite, beautiful surroundings for walking.
Very nice, quiet site with pleasant pitches. Sanitary facilities clean and well maintained. Nice building with a kitchen.
Nice campsite, a short walk from the beach/sea. The toilet block etc. are somewhat outdated, but clean and solid. Great campsite if you do not need any frills.
Mostly uneven terrain on both sides of a regional road. Friendly and helpful staff. Sanitary facilities very outdated. Unfortunately, they were also not clean during our visit. Bus stop to Aarhus directly in front of the campsite. Aarhus has a lot to offer!
The reception now warns about e-bike theft and offers secure storage. Campsite okay, everything clean.
Very nice campsite with excellent connections to Aarhus (regular bus services, and a beautiful 20-minute cycling route to the centre), great playgrounds and clean sanitary facilities! We would be happy to come back!
Warning!! Two high-quality e-bikes were stolen from us at this campsite during the night. The bikes were secured twice and locked to the vehicle. According to the police, bikes are stolen here every week. Unfortunately, the incident did not interest the campsite staff; prior information would have been the bare minimum. We cannot recommend this site.
A cool campsite!! Great location, spacious pitches, very friendly, and the sanitary facilities are clean. There is even a wellness area for dogs ❤️❤️
Right by the sea and with good public transport connections to beautiful Aarhus. You can even walk there in 1.5 hours, always along the sea. By bike, it takes 20 minutes. Top site.
Nice campsite outside Aarhus, though quite expensive (€74 for two adults and two children) in the low season. The pitches also vary greatly in size and condition—sloping or level, muddy without grass, or under trees with leaves. The sanitary facilities are clean but outdated. The beach is a pebble beach.
We liked it very much. Very nice staff, great location for walking and relaxing. Pure nature camping. Sanitary facilities clean.
A wonderful campsite with very nice operators. We not only booked a pitch with a view, but were practically standing on the beach (pitch 198 or 192b); we could hear the sea rushing from inside the camper. The bread rolls are highly recommended. Water and waste services work excellently. Aarhus can be reached by bike in 20 minutes; highly recommended.
Camping like in a city park—super beautiful, and wonderfully relaxed in the low season.
The site is quite good, and it is also okay for walking the dog. The pitch at the edge is somewhat inconvenient, as it is a long way to the wash house and outside. Good starting point for visiting Aarhus. Because of the rain, I used Uber instead of my bicycle, and that worked very well.
We had read in advance that the site was supposed to be extremely expensive. We did not find that to be the case; it was similar to others. Apart from electricity, all services were already included. We stayed in the upper area (the one without a beach), where it was quiet. The lower area was very busy. Aarhus can be reached by bike in about 25 minutes.
Two nights turned into five! :) We had a very pleasant time! Beautiful beach, friendly staff. Very close to the city, which is worth exploring! It is worth paying extra for pitches with a view. That is why we stayed.
Big campsite. Everything is available (water, cleaning facilities, showers, electricity). All clean. The site is a little on the expensive site. We were placed with the rest of the big campers on the far side of the road, but with our bicycles we could move around quite good.
Much too expensive (€50 for two people with a small car, without electricity). Far too few showers and washing-up facilities; everything is old. Beach not nice. We went into the sea via a staircase covered in algae. (It could be maintained.) The walk to the toilets is much too long, and many pitches are uneven.
Practical because it is close to Aarhus! We paid €50 per night without electricity for two adults. The facilities are adequate, but for the price we would have liked more showers available and more washing-up sinks, etc.
Relatively expensive, but a centrally located site for exploring Aarhus. (About €50 per night, car, without electricity, two people.) Definitely too few showers (5 in the southern area) for the number of campers. I had to wait at least half an hour every day or go very, very late. On Saturday, loud bass-heavy music played for a long time. The kiosk really only has the bare essentials.
