Camping OnlyCamp - Les Aubazines

The campsite is nicely located by the reservoir, but unfortunately has no access to the lake. The sanitary facilities were also not very well maintained and had no toilet paper; for this price range — the site was the most expensive of my trip at €24.50 for one person and one night without electricity — that is not quite acceptable.

Very warm welcome. The pitches, separated by hedges, are large, flat and available. Sanitary facilities okay. Access to the lake via a small path. Very quiet.

Friendly welcome. Lovely pitch with a superb view. Note that there is no swimming pool at the campsite, and the one next door will be closed all summer.

We spent 2 days trying to reach them by phone and email. No response to either. We arrived at 5:30 p.m. in front of the campsite on 17 August and found reception had been closed since 4 p.m...

Really friendly reception staff. Magnificent view over the reservoir. The beach is a 5-minute walk through the woods. The only minor drawback (not enough to lose a star, as it is understandable given the situation) is that the water sports centre is closed because of the drought. But there is the beach and several water activities, so...

Very kind and welcoming staff. We stopped for one day in the motorhome, but unfortunately had a bad night because of the other users, who were very noisy until late at night.

Pleasant campsite. Welcoming staff. Excellent little restaurant on the lakeshore. There are also water activities. Swimming pool free for people staying at the campsite.

Very beautiful tree-covered site, but unfortunately it is not true that there is a pool there (I was told there is a public one a little farther away), and there is also no access to the lake from the site (a steep slope). I was annoyed because I always look for places to swim. Price: €15.80 for one person including electricity in June 2025.

Campsite by a lake. Quiet surroundings. Friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities could use a little more cleaning (or a little more respect from the campers).

Very friendly welcome. Spacious, shaded pitch. Free for animals. Direct beach access to the lake.

We spent one night here. Motorhome plus tent. Flat pitch with a view of the lake. We ate at the restaurant below the campsite by the lake; the food was very good (remember to book). Shame the weather wasn’t good. The next day we headed to Aqualoisir.

Campsite on sloping ground but accessible to motorhomes, with flat pitches and a beautiful view. Nice walk down to the lake. Very nice water sports centre. However, sanitary block 1 was very dirty; it had not been cleaned or had been cleaned poorly!
