Back Lane, CA12 4TH
Been here?
This is a lay-by just off the main road, sheltered by a grass verge and trees. It is relatively flat with hill views, but traffic noise can be noticeable, including occasional early-morning horns. A pub is a short walk away.

Bit of roadside noise, doesn’t bother me but might others. Quiet lay-by on a Sunday night.
A layby set back off the road in a great location for walkers, but it's very noisy with traffic (not too bad during the night) and we got beeped by two cars in the early hours (I don't understand their mindset!)... relatively flat & nice views, a pub a short walk away. locals chatted to us & were happy with us being there...we stayed 1 night & left no trace.
Great views of the hills but very close to a busy road. Quiet other than the traffic noise though. Had the layby to myself
Very close to Road. No bushes or trees between. A lot of traffic noise. Ear plugs recommend. Village hall offers paid daytime parking. No overnight stays. Honesty box. Rubbish and recycle bins. Had three nights here while walking the hills. No phone. TV or Internet. Pub close by.
Not great, slept OK but alot of noise with the constant sheep. Road is also very busy; traffic starts early.
