Unnamed Road, 24416, Congosto
Been here?
4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
This is a remote, scenic overnight spot reached by rough tracks, with access especially difficult for vehicles over 6m. The ground is uneven, and stones are needed to create a level sleeping area. Barbecue facilities and tables are available, but mosquitoes and wasps can be numerous in summer.

After driving quite a long way on rough roads, we arrived to find that the reservoir was very dry and the place quite busy. It is possible to reach it from the west, but via the golf course it is crazy to take a vehicle that is not well prepared. I do not recommend it.Translating
We can confirm this. Difficult to access for a motorhome over 6 m, but the scenery is superb.Translating
You do not need a 4x4 if approaching from the west. Expect ruts, so it is rather unsuitable for motorhomes. A beautiful and quiet place to spend the night. The only disadvantage is that there is no level area, but there are enough stones to level yourself.Translating
Not a place to visit in July—mosquitoes and wasps everywhere.Translating
Perfect spot, quiet, little traffic (in April). Bring a few stones to sleep level. Barbecue and tables available. Easy access by 4x4; I also saw a few city cars drive down there without trouble. Not a spot for motorhomes, and that’s just fine. Thanks for sharing!Translating
Try approaching the place from the west, as the direct route from the east can feel relatively steep. It is now early November and there are still flies. Luckily, there are enough stones here to create a level spot. Otherwise, the place is inviting in good weather.Translating
Undoubtedly very beautiful, but impractical for a converted van. Too steep. What a shame.Translating
I slept there on a Saturday in August and had no problems at all: no parties, no fines—not even any neighboring campers or caravans. Everything was fine, quiet, and pleasant. Access via C. El Pantano.Translating
Basically a good camping spot. The drive there was adventurous. Unfortunately, there was a stray dog at the spot, which made us uncomfortable. However, it was wonderful for one night, as the place invites you to spend a pleasant evening. At night there was a noisy gathering nearby with loud music, probably a rave, along with loud barking dogs. Otherwise, a quiet night in nature.Translating
Wonderful place, very peaceful. Beautiful sunset. 2 possible accesses. Recommended.Translating
