A discreet riverside picnic spot in the woods, with a stone table and bench, a barbecue and access to the river. It is very quiet at night, although hikers, dog walkers and picnic visitors pass during the day. Access is across a fairly narrow bridge and suits a van or small utility vehicle. The river offers a place to swim and the site faces the sunset.

Quiet night in the middle of the woods beside the river. There is a picnic table and a barbecue, but they were occupied. We settled farther along the path.
Great little spot, quiet and beside the river. Some locals were having a barbecue when we arrived, but they were quite friendly and did not leave late. A table and stone bench, with a barbecue available. Access is via a fairly narrow bridge, suitable for a van or panel van.
Magical place in the countryside with the opportunity to swim in the refreshing river. You can also barbecue wonderfully here. We stayed one night and it was very quiet.
A lovely place with everything we like: peace and quiet, a river and a barbecue.
Pleasant place with a barbecue, table and stone benches, and a small river with a bridge. Charming! Lots of daytime traffic—hikers, dog walkers and people coming for picnics—but very quiet at night. As in far too many places, I once again collected a 50-litre bag of rubbish and an equal amount of glass. Please leave this place clean, otherwise eventually no places will be authorised.
