Simple paved parking lot right next to a superb park: the “Rhododendron Park,” the largest rhododendron park in Northern Europe. Seven hectares in the middle of the city. Otherwise, all services are available free of charge and bins are provided. Bowling right next door. Very quiet night; there were about ten of us.✦Translating

Lots of space. Great services. Quiet. Free! There is a lovely park for a stroll nearby with public toilets. Town 10 mins walk - go spend some money to say thanks! I just wish people didn’t do camping behaviour here - we will lose this spot!!

Nice large quiet flat space close to town. Plenty of green space for dog walks and play. All services and bins. We drove down from Hirtshals ferry, 30 mins on motorway. Very convenient.

One of the few free motorhome sites in Denmark. Everything you need is available, with plenty of space. The only question is how long this site will remain available. This afternoon there were only two vehicles in the motorhome area, yet a French motorhome was parked across the car area, blocking five spaces. How much longer will the municipality tolerate this?✦Translating

We had a short rest there during the day for a break trip. It is a very spacious parking lot and although there were plenty of other motorhomes there there was still a lot of space available, unfortunately it is a bit uneven and mostly sunny but it is completely free of charge. We didn't use the services but everything seemed to be clean and very functional. It was a bit noisy but not too much.

This place is simply perfect. It has everything you need. Grey and black water disposal, fresh water supply, everything clean and well maintained. We stayed here for one night at the end of May and were alone in the enormous site with one other motorhome. Excellent place to spend the night. Please note that the toilets are in the bowling alley (private), provided it is open. Very clean, so please be discreet. We slept very well and felt safe.

Great free place; there was a bit of noise tonight due to salting the site, but anyway—there is still water in the tap even though it is 26 December 2025!

Lovely large and quiet site with level spaces and the possibility of emptying tanks.

Good place, toilets inside by the bowling alley. Emptying and filling with water and sewage is easily accessible and free. Playground, exercise park, disc golf and park right nearby.

A great site if you are taking the Hirtshals–Kristiansand ferry. Everything is available and it was very quiet at night for us.

We had another excellent stay here—perfect for immediately before or after the ferry.

There is currently a market here. Completely closed. In principle, though, it seems to be a good option.
