Convenient supermarket area, no electricity

The area was full, but we were able to park without problems on the same street. The facilities are free and were very clean and well maintained. We had read reviews about the noise, but we went on a Sunday, when the establishment was closed, and the night was very quiet.✦Translating

It is true that light sleepers may be bothered by trucks early in the morning, almost right in front of the supermarket, and there is a large dirt area with around thirty motorhomes. First, thanks to the Navia town council for providing this service area, with all services except electricity. The parking spaces are opposite and consist of just a few parallel spaces. Next to them is the Familia supermarket parking lot, which also has several spaces for motorhomes, with no problem staying overnight (but no camping). Honestly I couldn't find all the service mentioned, apart the large parking area. I couldn't locate the loading and waste unloading area (there is a sign which I understand waste unloading is forbidden) and the toilets of course were closed. All the others services are offered by the next supermarket.

11/04/2026 - Spent a quiet evening here with 10 other vans next to the football pitch. Had a great coffee at El Monolito in town overlooking the small marina. Services were very clean and easily accessible on the exit road next to the football pitch. Diesel at the garage next door was the cheapest we have found so far. Thank you for this great little stop! Much appreciated!

Pitch in a parking lot behind the Familia shopping center. There is a toilet at the adjacent petrol station. The supermarket has a laundromat and an inexpensive restaurant. Now the major drawback: the place has the atmosphere of a big-city parking lot. There is little peace and quiet. Goods are delivered by truck from 5 a.m. Please observe the user rules.✦Translating

Pleasant stop with nice walk by the river. Nothing happening in the town on a Tuesday night. El Galleon not open despite Google saying it is. We walked a fair way uphill to find that nugget out. Supermarket cafe next door is very good. Croissants are enormous, open at 8 am. Avoid parking near supermarket if you can, very noisy at 5a.m when the lorries arrive to unload.

Complete torture, construction work with extreme noise at 4 a.m.; I can’t understand how this is allowed… Worst place I’ve slept in during three straight months in the van.✦Translating

(01-10-2025) Free motorhome area next to a shopping center and petrol station. Close to the town center and beaches. Easy access. Paved, clearly marked pitches, without shade. Water services available. The shopping center's toilets can be used, and the restaurant offers good-value menus. Quiet night.

You absolutely must take a walk along the banks of the Navia to its mouth, returning beneath the pines and eucalyptus trees—it is splendid.

Super stop. Large spaces for the supermarket, all services, petrol station, laundromat, bins.

Large, flat parking area with the necessary services. Close to a supermarket with washing and tumble-drying facilities. Petrol station right next door. We did not stay overnight, so I cannot say anything about the noise level at night.

Excellent place. Supermarket, petrol station, toilets, shower, and a laundry area with washing machines and dryers. Completely flat asphalt. There’s a snack bar with a delicious, generous menu for €12. There are also lovely long walks along the river or estuary and through the woods to the beach.

This is a good place to stop but has no views. We had to do a detour round the stock car racing in the town to get to it. Large spaces and a service point. We walked to the town and then the beach and didn't stay in this car park.

This is a public car park where some parking spaces, both angled and parallel, have been designated so that motorhomes serve as the wall on the side and at the back of the goal (although the latter has a net, which does not provide complete protection) of a football pitch where aspiring Messis or Ronaldos play with regulation footballs. Park here if you don’t mind getting footballs kicked at your motorhome.
