Aggressive welcome, two showers that do not lock, two accessible toilets. Do not go past the critical noon departure time, even if you were granted a 3 p.m. departure the day before. Fellow motorhome travellers, there are other options in La Bourboule.Translating
Small family campsite. Close to the town centre, with a supermarket 100 m away. We were welcomed well, but there are few services: no restaurant, shop or pastries. Clean but poorly equipped sanitary facilities. The lady is warm and helpful, but the man is very unpleasant and curt. And €26 per night (with electricity and the dog) is too expensive for the few services offered. I will not return.Translating
A very well-located campsite, close to hiking trails, a supermarket and La Bourboule town centre. Spacious, level pitch; welcoming and available owners. Services are fine except that the water was shut off against freezing in March, but the shower and washing-up sinks were available and clean. A lovely extra is the private relaxation area after hiking—excellent. Thank you.Translating
Very unfriendly; a prior viewing was refused... That is no way to win customers. We certainly will not come here.Translating
Very disappointed: €22 per night with electricity. The managers simply collect the money without providing the services we are entitled to expect for the price paid: no water to fill the motorhome tank and no heating in the showers at this time of year. We will not return.Translating
I am not rating the campsite because it may be very good—I say may because we wanted to stay there in mid-November (18/11), and the campsite was closed, contrary to what was indicated. Fortunately, we called beforehand. So remember to do the same. We ended up at the Camping-Car Park in Mont-Dore, which is actually quite good.Translating
We have just spent a wonderful weekend. Thank you, Christophe and Evelyne, for this wonderful, uncomplicated time. An evening with a meal and excellent entertainment. An atmosphere just the way we like it, and some lovely encounters. See you soon.Translating
A few days to enjoy the Auvergne landscapes. A top-notch welcome, with available and friendly owners. The sanitary facilities are clean. The motorhome pitch is spacious and pleasant, separated by hedges. A very good stay at La Marmotte.Translating
Nice campsite with beautiful pitches for our van in the lower section. Sanitary facilities in good condition and motorhome services available. Very warm welcome from the managers.Translating
Campsite unsuitable for motorhomes, as they are parked at the back of the site. Sanitary facilities are outdated and the shower was cold during our stay. Friendly welcome from the owner. We paid €25 per day for a motorhome. We will not return.Translating
We had already wanted to try this campsite two years ago, but we were poorly received. Not holding a grudge, we tried again yesterday. We arrived at 3 p.m., when reception opened: no hello, no smile, and we were immediately turned away because we had no reservation. There was no sign indicating that the campsite was full, and three motorhome travellers were turned away in the same way. Definitely avoid!Translating
