Staff Camping

Very small, natural, and peaceful campsite. We had a pitch beside the fjord with a magnificent view. The owner is very friendly, willing to help, and happy to introduce you to the local speciality... fishing. The sanitary facilities and kitchen are very modern and clean. There is a terrace with tables and chairs for the restaurant, which is open on summer weekends.✦Translating

Pitch for a maximum of three motorhomes directly by the water (gravel), but quite far from the toilets. Toilets and shower at the restaurant, usable 24 hours, are super modern and clean. Fully equipped kitchen. Sauna with a view of the fjord can be booked (NOK 250 per person), and is worth it. The operators are very warm and always available for questions.✦Translating

There is no reception. You have to call Johan. The pitch is by the lake, small and uneven. Only three vehicles can stand by the lake. No marked pitches. The restaurant is open only Saturday and Sunday (12:00–17:00). Very limited selection. I will not come back and cannot recommend it.✦Translating

Lovely place at the lake! Great view, nice birds and the most excellent host you can imagine. Helping us out with an extra long electricity line. And coffee at our camper. Unbelievable! A nice new restaurant, showers etc. refilling water and a dump station! Will definitely come back.

A brilliant small area for touring campers right down by the sea. Johan was very obliging and helpful. Facilities were all very modern and clean. The cafe is only open at weekends at this time of year as they are not so busy. Definitely recommend.

Excellent campsite; the new building is exceptional. The decor is lovely and tasteful, the showers are large with hot water, and there is a laundry, kitchen, and library—everything you need for a great holiday. We are only staying one night, but regretfully. I would add that all services are free except the washing and drying machines, which I find normal. And finally, Johan is perfect.✦Translating

We were here from June 11–14, 2026. We parked our motorhome right by the fjord. The place is a little paradise. We rented the wonderful boat and caught salmon and cod in a short time. The sauna was an experience. We ate at the café. It was perfect. All facilities were very clean. Johann, the owner, is super friendly and helpful. We’ll be back.✦Translating

We were here on January 4, 2026. When booking, we noticed that it is closed from October 31 to May 1. Therefore, we cannot give a proper review. What a shame.✦Translating
