A very quiet, flat wild spot on a high plateau with several possible pitches and beautiful mountain views. Access involves about 3-4 km of difficult, sometimes rough track, with gravel sections and limited suitability for ordinary vans; 4x4 vehicles are preferred. Overnight stays of two nights are possible, with hiking routes and good 4G reported. There is little shade, and animal bells or occasional wind may be heard.

Very beautiful, peaceful place. Lovely sunset and sunrise. The only downside is the somewhat difficult access, with about 3 km of track. You have to earn it, but I recommend it.
Very flat spot with a beautiful view. However, the access road is very difficult for motorhomes, vans and panel vans. A 4x4 is preferable.
Extraordinary place. We slept here for two nights. Several hikes are possible. Several pitches are available on the upper plateau, but access is quite difficult. I recommend coming via Pied de Borne. Please respect nature.
Superb and peaceful place. The access road can be a little tricky, though. We managed it with a Trafic, but I would not try it in the rain… A little windy, but worth it!

It is currently hunting season. Lots of 4x4s until 8 p.m., even around the spot. After that, all alone in the world with a magnificent view! A little scare on the climb with my old Vito. There are gravel sections on the road where you may skid. Only for adventurers with good ground clearance. Enjoy :)
Really a very nice place to stay. Totally quiet beside the bells of some animals around. (Possibly cows) Be warned: there are two routes starting in Villefort. 1st: Rue et chemin de Chazalet - take this one for 4km offroad fun. 4x4 would be good but not neccesary if you have some experience and ground clearance. 2nd: Bois de Pignet at the south of Villeport. Little challenge but shorter and easier
