Unnamed Road, 01909, Großharthau
Been here?
A quiet hillside spot reached by a gravel dirt road, offering a wide panoramic view and good mobile reception from the nearby radio towers. The area is not visible from the road and is suitable for up to 3 campers, although space becomes close at full capacity. The approach is more comfortable via the left track, and recent comments found the hiking less impressive.

Beautiful view. When I was there it was very peaceful, and there was good reception for those who need it. I had a wonderfully quiet night and was parked level. Space for a maximum of three campers, although with three it would already feel like a prefab housing estate because of how close together they would be. I would gladly return, hopefully in good weather. The hiking was not that great, but sometimes enjoying a beautiful view is enough. Gladly again!
When entering the dirt road there are two routes; it is better to take the left one, which is much easier to drive. Very quiet place, highly recommended. :)
Completely quiet and not visible from the road. A radio tower is right next to it, so reception is always excellent. It was very windy during my visit. The approach is a gravel farm track. Passable with both a car and an overcab motorhome.
After finding the other place down by the river occupied, I drove here. I was alone. The actual road is somewhat rough, but currently there is also a track across the meadow. The panoramic view is truly fantastic. The radio masts should not bother you. I was here on a Friday; the night was quiet and the morning glorious.
Panoramic view and complete peace and quiet! My two dogs also loved this place and were able to be off leash because there was nobody around. I recommend it.
We stayed here for four nights and left NOTHING behind—please do the same so this can remain such a beautiful place! Simply fantastic, quiet, with an excellent view and always good reception thanks to the radio towers ;) Hopefully this wonderful place will remain usable like this for a long time.
