Been here?
This campsite is 14 km outside Bergen beside a lake, with a bus stop 50 m away for connections towards the city. A night recently cost 550 NOK for up to 4 people, including electricity, shower, kitchen, washing machines and dryer. The pitches can be very close together, and traffic and nighttime noise may be considerable. The sanitary facilities are older but generally clean, while black-water disposal is not available.

We got the last place on the gravel between the other motorhomes. There was 1.5 metres of space between the motorhomes. No possibility of putting anything outside. Right alongside the road, so there was a huge amount of traffic noise. At midnight there were still people talking in the parking area. The only positive point: free washing machine and dryer.
Everyone perceives it differently, but for us the campsite was perfectly fine. 550 kroner is a flat rate that also applies to four people. Electricity, shower and kitchen are included, as well as washing machines and dryers. You also have to factor in 110 kroner for the bus ticket. We would recommend the site and had a pitch on the lakeside with a lovely view.
A great campsite for a stop in Bergen. When we arrived around 2 p.m., there were still many pitches available. We had a lovely pitch directly by the water. You can get to Bergen by bus in about 45 minutes. The sanitary facilities are older but clean.
550 NOK for one person, one night with a 6 m motorhome, is already very expensive. The sanitary facilities are old and run-down and urgently need renovating. You stand on uneven gravel, very close together. The price-performance ratio is not justified.
The sanitary facilities and kitchen are clean, unfortunately only one shower was open in the women’s area even though the campsite was full. We are packed in tightly. We had a horrible night because of the noise: a group of bikers partying and shouting in the middle of the night, the road is extremely noisy, loud music in the middle of the night several times…
Terrible campsite. You are packed in tightly. The facilities are reasonable. We would not go there again. The receptionist was very friendly.
We stayed here for 3 nights because the city centre is easily accessible. But be careful: black water cannot be dumped.
We got a lovely lakeside pitch by the sauna. Wonderful. Sanitary facilities clean. We washed and dried laundry. Everything is included in the price. There is a bus stop in front of the campsite, going to Bergen; it worked brilliantly.
We are in a motorhome and are not prepared to pay €50 to be beside a noisy road, so we turned around. What a shame.
We did not find the site nice at all, especially with a small child. We drove on to another site.
We received a very warm welcome. We had a wonderful pitch and washed our laundry. Clean toilets and shower cubicles. The bus stop to Bergen is right next to the campsite. Free Wi-Fi and good reception. Great place for visiting Bergen.
Pretty campsite. Bergen is 40 minutes by bus and tram. Very convenient for visiting the city. €46 for one night, all-inclusive: shower, water, washing machine, dryer, kitchen… I recommend it! Claude and Denis
Best place in the neighbourhood. You can easily reach the city with a bus and a tram (together 30 min). Everything was clean and the staff is super nice! Wasching maschine and dryer are included in the price!!!!
We had free choice of pitches with electricity, shower and washing machine, all included. So far so good. The operator did not show himself once in the 3 days. The rubbish was overflowing, the toilets were, in plain German, filthy, and the kitchen was anything but clean. We stayed for 3 days anyway because we had everything in the motorhome, the view was amazing and the bus connection was perfect.
Great campsite! Incredibly kind owner, very helpful. The view was fantastic, directly by the water. Small but lovely site, free choice of pitch. Plenty of sanitary facilities. Always clean. Shower, washing machine and dryer included. The kitchen was well equipped; if you need pasta or flour, you will surely find something here. You can get into the city quickly by public transport. The timetable is posted at the office.
Very untidy site. The meadow next door looks as if bulky waste is being stored there. Unless you get one of the front pitches, you stand in the middle of an ugly gravel area. We did not stay. The sanitary facilities looked orderly.
Adequate for visiting Bergen, but yes, it was very cold in the bathrooms and kitchen. They could turn on the heating for the price they charge. Transit campsite, with no pitches.
Friendly staff, very clean. Pitches by the water are very limited. The site is gravelled, and the road directly alongside is also busy, so it was correspondingly noisy, unfortunately at night as well.
Small, idyllic campsite directly by the water. The 40-minute journey to Bergen by bus and tram was absolutely worthwhile. Sauna, clean (although small) sanitary facilities, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer included. For 4 people and 2 dogs, only €50 per night—we would gladly come back!
So far the most expensive campsite. The six pitches by the lake are fine; after that you are placed on gravel or grass. The grass pitches are too few. We will drive on next time.
Five or six lucky people get to stand at the front with a view of the fjord; the rest are packed onto a gravel area in the middle between cabins. Sanitary facilities below average, but worst of all is the road noise—day and night! On top of that, a lot of money is charged. Better to drive to the parking area just outside Bergen.
Paid 495 NOK incl. electricity and washing machine, but got a pitch without power and no discount. Washing machines were always occupied and unusable. Sanitary facilities were dirty and extremely basic. Worst campsite of our 3-week trip. Not worth the money – absolutely not recommended!
A top site for visiting Bergen, but nothing more. Everything included! However, the dryer does not dry, so at midnight we still had to dry our damp laundry in the van… If you are already standing by the lake, they could at least clean up access to it. We saw a lot of old metal… dangerous for feet.
The ideal campsite for visiting Bergen. We paid 600 kroner for 2 nights in a motorhome, everything included (electricity, dumping, drinking-water refill, showers, washing machine with detergent provided and dryer…). Best value for money we have found in Norway so far. A bus stops every half hour on weekdays opposite the campsite entrance, taking you to Bergen in 45 minutes.
We stayed at the site for two nights and the facility was always fully booked by evening. There is plenty of space between the individual motorhomes; the area is not overcrowded. Shower/WC and washing machine are clean and everything is included in the price.
Busy place! OK for visiting Bergen, but not worth the price if you compare to other places in Norway.
A lovely, warm and charming welcome; a very good stop for one night.

It is 10 metres from the main road, so there is a lot of traffic noise. The sanitary facilities are clean and everything is available.
