This is a large roadside space in Ficuzza forest, beside an old trough and spring, with level parking spaces after the fountain. The setting is peaceful, with cow bells, birds, mountain surroundings, valley and lake views, picnic areas and car-free bike trails. The spring water is potable, and the sealed access road has respectable potholes.

Beautiful parking area at the foot of an imposing, “protective” mountain. There are level parking spaces beyond the fountain. A local place we got to know well confirmed that the fountain water is drinkable :)
