Been here?
A free parking area beside Liepāja’s Northern Forts offers a coastal setting and direct access to the historic fortifications. There are no services or toilets, and many people visit during the day. The wind turbine produces a steady noise, while nighttime visitors may still arrive. Recent reports describe vehicles drifting at night and motorhomes being damaged.

Unfortunately, teenagers repeatedly come at night and drift their vehicles; motorhomes have been damaged.Translating
Beautiful sleeping place directly by the sea, behind the bunker dunes. The wind turbine makes a constant noise, but it did not bother us at all. Visitors came at night, walked around there despite the darkness, and then drove away. Overall, okay for one night.Translating
Lot of trash everywhere, didn’t stay, only visited the bunkers. The whole place is literally falling apart.
We parked in this car park only to visit the bunkers; we did not sleep there. It could be a good place, but we think the wind turbine is too noisy. Perfect for visiting the area.Translating
Car park for viewing the fortifications. In theory, you can also spend the night here, but there are clearly nicer places. We only used it as a short-term car park to explore the area.Translating
A beautiful place directly on the beach. There is much more to see than just the fort. The wind turbine did not disturb us while sleeping. Around three o’clock at night, a car drove onto the site but disappeared again after ten minutes. After that, the night was quiet again. There is a rubbish bin.Translating
Simple parking area for visiting the history of the fort. We did not stay overnight, as it was too gloomy for our taste. But it was nice to see it all.Translating
