A truly lovely family campsite, with both shaded and sunny pitches. Wi-Fi at all pitches, swimming pool. Excellent welcome. On site: bar, mini snack bar, pastries or a full breakfast available to order. A very good restaurant 100 meters away. The cycle path is right next door and runs along the canal. July 19, 2026: one motorhome, 2 people, electricity €24.70 plus tourist tax.Translating
Small family campsite taken over a month and a half ago, with a swimming pool, basic older but clean sanitary facilities, snack bar, and shaded or sunny pitches. Everything is accessible on foot or by bicycle (castle, canal with cycle paths, restaurants, Lidl, etc.) for €26.90, including one baguette ordered for the next day, for 2 people with electricity—and it is quiet... perfect for us.Translating
Committed operators, very friendly welcome, and a good mix of tents, campers and gîtes d’étape. Ideal location on the Nantes–Brest Canal. Free visit to Groulaie Castle, with many cycling and hiking trails starting from the campsite. We intended to stay for 2 days and ended up staying 4. We especially enjoyed the surroundings and the immediate proximity to the castle. The nature along the trails is unique. The campsite is suitable for all kinds of exploration.Translating
Very nice campsite, lots of greenery, close to the castle and historic center, pitches of various sizes, including for large vehicles, clean bathrooms.Translating
Lovely three nights here, great facilities, wonderful welcome. Exit down onto Canal de Nantes à Brest so great for cycling.
Stay in a motorhome with a trailer. We were given a very long pitch. Great. Quiet at this time of year. Excellent restaurant right next door for lunch during the week.Translating
Charming campsite set in pleasant surroundings (castle, river). Excellent welcome. Quiet at this time of year. One drawback is that the shower water temperature is a little low.Translating
Warm welcome at this genuine, family-friendly campsite (tents, caravans, motorhomes and vans). The pitches are decent and pleasant. 16-amp electricity. Free (partially) visit to La Groulais Castle, located right nearby. The facilities are perfectly acceptable. A very pleasant stopover on the way to St Malo or La Rochelle. 18/20Translating
Very clean campsite and close to the canal, but when I mentioned the electricity included to DV50, I was told that was impossible and that they never offered it?? I paid more than the low-season rate?? I thought I would stay one or two more nights, but the next morning, from 9:15 a.m. until noon or later, they were mowing, as it was not finished when I left. The work has to be done, of course, but still!!Translating
Very friendly, beautiful pitches, lovely walks, the castle and the port. I recommend it.Translating
A quiet campsite with friendly managers (and the new manager from June 1 will be just as nice!), and an extremely welcoming smile. We come here regularly (by bike or in a motorhome) and always enjoy it just as much. A family campsite, just the way we like them!Translating
Very close to the Nantes–Brest Canal; the nearby road is not too noisy at night. We are here out of season and paid €18 (electricity included) for a small motorhome with two people. The facilities are a little dated but functional.Translating
Small campsite beside the Nantes–Brest Canal... very warm welcome... friendly atmosphere at the beginning of September... we highly recommend it.Translating
Pleasant little campsite for a stopover. It is a shame that the pool closes early, even during a heatwave.....and that the showers are closed from 10:00 p.m....(never seen that before....) In short, they are quite "strict" about the schedule....otherwise, a nice walk to the castle.Translating
€20.1 for a motorhome with 2 adults. No electricity. Quiet site among the trees, warm welcome, clean facilities. Food and beer on site.Translating
Nice campsite, very welcoming owners, very clean facilities. Reasonable price. I recommend it.Translating
Not allowed to choose own plot so instantly did not feel comfortable. There were large green paddocks at the end of the site but they chose to bunch everyone together at the dusty entrance. No water points to be seen so have to get water from the entrance at the sinks. Was very hot and didn't know they would lock the swimming pool at 7pm and ALSO lock the shower wash room!! Unbelievable!
Lovely little family campsite on the banks of the Brest Canal, near the magnificent castle. Very friendly owners. Concert evenings; the neighboring restaurant owner heats up the plancha for everyone to enjoy. A good address on the way to the Atlantic coast.Translating
A very nice site, with large pitches and free choice of pitch in May; it was very empty. We enjoyed lovely bike rides along the canal, and there is a nice village. One point deducted for the facilities, which are rather dated. But the low price makes up for it.Translating
Lovely little family campsite on the banks of the Brest Canal, near the magnificent Château de la Groulaie. Forget the motorhome area on the other side of the canal. Very friendly owners. During concert evenings, the neighboring restaurant owner heats up the plancha for everyone to enjoy. A good address on the way to the Atlantic coast.Translating
Very friendly welcome. Well maintained and very well located. Spacious pitches. Snacks available on site and bread by order. Thanks to the new owners, who do everything possible for the well-being of their guests. Motorhome service area on site. We will definitely come back.Translating
A very friendly and welcoming reception at this pleasant, well-kept and quiet campsite. Large, well-appointed pitches in a bucolic setting. Light meals and bread in the morning. Service area is fine; a screen could be considered to hide the view of the chemical toilet dump. Easy access to the town center and the nearby canal.Translating
Very friendly welcome. Owners who really listen. The campsite is laid out and maintained with great taste! Very close to the canal. A campsite just the way we like them. An address to remember without hesitation!
Hello to all our motorhome friends. The campsite reopens on Friday, April 4. If this campsite is on your route, don't hesitate.
Very well-maintained campsite, perfect welcome.
Very friendly and pleasant welcome. Beautiful, clean campsite with well-maintained pitches. Close to the castle and not far from the center. We will gladly come back.
Very pleasant, clean and green campsite. Excellent welcome. The campsite is located near the castle and canal. I highly recommend it. Much more pleasant than the nearby motorhome area without electricity. Don't hesitate—choose this campsite. Thanks to the whole team for your welcome and kindness.
