E80, Podgorica
Been here?
A private riverside camping area in a mountain canyon, with access to clear water, a beach and activities including kayaking and packrafting. Facilities are modern and clean, with electricity, water, WiFi and clean showers; a recent price was 25 euros each night for 2 adults, with children free. The views are excellent, but the nearby road and railway can be noisy. The centre of the city is about 10min away.

We were here with a Morelo Palace, so height and width were no problem. Gorgeous, clear mountain lake, although the water was 18 degrees; the beautiful view and wonderful water more than made up for it. The large stones on the beach are a little inconvenient… Very nice owners; we were allowed to stay here with two cars and five people for €40 per night. The grass pitch is very large. We felt very comfortable.
We stayed at the site for one night. Great location right by the river—ideal for relaxing by the water. The sanitary facilities were clean. The best thing for our child was the puppy wandering around the site.
The owner and staff are the friendliest people we’ve met in Montenegro! We stayed in our camper - 25 euros each night for 2 adults, kids were free - electric and water included, really clean, modern facilities! Fab views. Great WiFi all over. The road didn’t bother us at all. Walking distance to climbing. We’ll be back soon for sure!!!
PERFECT for kayaking and packrafting, with river access on the Morača. Good facilities.
Good facilities and clean showers. A good stopover when passing through, but it is located between the road and railway line and therefore didn’t invite us to stay longer.
10/10 :) We will definitely come back!
Well-equipped and clean campsite. We chose it because it has a tumble dryer; otherwise we would not have stopped here because the road beside it is very noisy (trucks, speeding).
Superb place. Auto Camp close to the city, 10 minutes from the city center. The owner, Hassan, is very friendly and welcoming. There is a car park and a grassy camping area, as well as rooms available. We paid €30 per night. Electricity, water, and coffee included!
It’s a very nice place—super clean, with very friendly people. The street is not loud at night, and the spot is very cat- and dog-friendly. The climbing area on the other side of the river is awesome. We visited in the off-season (December),and the campground owner even delivered food to us. We stayed for three nights and can warmly recommend this place. :)
Very clean showers and toilets. There is free Wi-Fi, many water and electricity connections, a lovely common room, and a bar/café with a beautiful view of the canyon. The staff are also very friendly and helpful and speak good English. The site is naturally beside the main road, and a train occasionally passes on the other side, but it didn’t bother me. Dogs allowed.
great site in a really pretty location and perfect access to the river in the canyon. the indoor facilities were a brilliant bonus, and the showers are great. cash only.
Beautiful place, clean, and friendly welcome. Good Wi-Fi. There is a busy road, but you hardly notice it.
Friendly welcome. Located beside a busy road and a railway tunnel, but we were not bothered at night. Between mountains and alongside a river, with a pebble beach. Rooms are also available. Kitchen with sink, induction hob, and refrigerator. Sanitary facilities with lukewarm water; they look nice but are not perfect. Every pitch has electricity and water, with plenty of picnic tables. €23 for one night, two adults, one dog, including electricity and sanitary facilities. Beautiful place!
Mega beautiful campsite, well maintained, with very friendly staff. The sanitary facilities are new and clean. There is a lovely common room and a pretty café with a ‘river view,’ and the hotel rooms are small but nice. We appreciated being protected from the sun in the canyon rocks in the morning and evening. Highly recommended!!
Pleasant place with access to the river and beach. Very nice surroundings. The facilities are clean.
We spent one night here while passing through. We were warmly welcomed. The pitches are great, and each one has drinking water and electricity. The river is beautiful and refreshing. The restaurant is highly recommended—delicious food and a great atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The staff member Amar was also extremely friendly. We’ll be back :)
Camping Titograd (the former name of Podgorica). Excellent sanitary facilities. Friendly welcome; one star deducted because of the nearby road, although it is still bearable. We will return.
Very warm welcome. Very clean and spacious sanitary facilities. There is a washing machine (€3 per cycle) and dryer (€3), both rather old but functional. The pitches are fairly small but pleasant. No shade, but the mountains shade the site from mid-afternoon onward.
Very nice owners, utility posts with lighting and their own water connection beside the meadow, and very clean, modern sanitary facilities. Large, modern common room. You can hardly hear the road; the occasional train is more noticeable, but it doesn’t wake you up, in my opinion. Excellent scenery, with many opportunities for outdoor sports practically next door.
Nice campsite, clean toilets, friendly owner, no complaints! Everything top-notch, 10/10!
Beautiful location, although beside the motorway (we personally were not bothered by it), with clean facilities and a well-maintained site.
The place is very beautiful, but being right beside the road makes it impossible to sleep because of the traffic noise.
The site is really nice, and the common room is also great in bad weather! The owners are super friendly, and the noise is hardly noticeable.
One of our favorite places on the journey south. The infrastructure is great, the welcome very friendly, and the combination of river and climbing was perfect for us. A real highlight is the stylish bar/restaurant with good food at very fair prices. Despite the already mentioned noise, we spontaneously stayed for two nights.
We arrived late, at 11 p.m., but the owner welcomed us anyway. The next morning we discovered a swimmable river accessible from the site, with a beach and a wall for bouldering. There is also an attached bar for coffee and breakfast. Bathrooms newer than those in my own home. Excellent!
Good place for one night. The river is beautiful and there are several loungers available. The sanitary facilities were very new and clean. We weren’t bothered by the air, road, or rail traffic. However, it was also very windy all night, so that was the main thing we heard.
Nice campsite, unfortunately very noisy because of the road and train, no shade! And only reasonably clean bathrooms… Overall, though, they make a real effort, and the food was also okay.
A magnificent campsite with very, very kind and helpful managers. I highly recommend it.
The place is beautiful. They have their own private beach. The owners are very friendly. The amenities are all new and well functioning. They will serve you a breakfast for 6euros. We really enjoy our stay and we abstolutely recommend. You don’t feel that you are close from the city at all from this location.
Beautiful place by the Tara River. Friendly people who also have a restaurant. Lunch or dinner €10 per person, breakfast €6 per person. We had dinner, and it was absolutely delicious! The bathrooms are modern and clean. It is also possible to use tubes in the river or a kayak (unfortunately, only one). Not five stars because there is noise from the train and the road, right next to the site.
A wonderful place for a refreshing break between two journeys through Montenegro. The owners are very welcoming and the location is exceptional. You can enjoy peace and quiet among beautiful canyons, as well as swimming in the clear river flowing just below. The sanitary facilities are clean and recent. It is also possible to rent an air-conditioned room if, like us, you arrive during a period of intense heat… We highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area and need a place to rest.
Very friendly owners create a good atmosphere at the campsite. The location by the river in this narrow valley is excellent. Breakfast was very good, even though I hadn’t reserved. The sanitary facilities are new, clean, and nice.
A beautiful place with access to the river and a friendly welcome. The sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. At night you can hear the river rushing; otherwise, everything is quiet. We liked it very much.
Owners super friendly and helpful. Absolutely gutted as we were passing through so couldn’t stay but the facilities looked impeccable and they had their own private beach on the river! Go stay if you are passing through!
Very nice welcome and clean sanitary facilities! You can walk directly to the river. We paid €21 for 2 people + dog. The only drawback: because of the proximity to the road and railway line, it is somewhat noisy.
I’m giving it 3 stars because there is a lot of noise due to the proximity of the road and the train on the other side of the river. Okay for one emergency night. Black and grey water must be emptied through a 100 mm hose. Otherwise, the toilets and showers are very clean, and you can go directly to the river.
