Upper Road, Saint Margaret's at Cliffe
Been here?
A free, narrow parking area directly beside the road, suitable mainly for cars and smaller vehicles. It has uneven ground, large potholes and difficult access for motorhomes, while traffic can shake the vehicle and be noisy. The White Cliffs of Dover are about a 10-minute walk away.

Unsuitable. Very narrow, with huge potholes and steep inclines.
Only suitable for cars, as it is very narrow. Have a good journey, Vanlife.bama
Small, narrow parking area beside the road, where locals come hiking fairly early. Some traffic makes the vehicle shake. No restrictions, very convenient when arriving late by ferry, as it is just above Dover.
Very slim and uneven. Previously been raining so the potholes were huge icy puddles. Free though. I wouldn’t want to stay the night, extremely close to the road.
Great access to the cliffs. We had a quiet nights sleep, no traffic in the night in November! But during the day cars pass by very fast and make the whole van move.
Road too busy, keeps you awake!
The approach is unsuitable or barely suitable for motorhomes. A very narrow road leads there, and we had trouble passing oncoming traffic several times.
