Chemin de l'Olivet, 01800, Pérouges
Been here?
This parking is 150m from Pérouges's medieval village center, close but not ideal for large vans due to its narrow entrance. Free from 19:30 to midnight, then charged at €0.50 per 15 minutes up to €6 daily until 9h. Payment machines have reliability issues; an alternate disabled-accessible entrance is available. The village has ongoing construction work at its entrance.

Convenient parking for visiting this medieval village, but the village is sad and somewhat lifeless; many things are closed and major works at the entrance spoil the visit. Be sure to read the rate details carefully if you want to spend the night, because payment is required again from midnight to 9 a.m.—yes, a rather curious system.
Warning: EasyPark charged us €6 twice! We arrived at 6:18 p.m. (it’s free from 7:30 p.m. until midnight) and left the next day at 11 a.m. That should have been €0.50 twice on the day of arrival and €6 for the following day! Apart from that: very close to the Cité, but somewhat uneven.
Very well located for sightseeing. €2 for staying from 10:09 to 11:04.
Arrived at 20:00 to a mostly empty car park, had dinner at a restaurant in the beautiful medieval village, nice and quiet sleep, registered the parking on EasyPark, and left at 8:30. EasyPark charged me €6.90 so €0.9 over the non-easypark price.
Not ideal for big vans, but it was OK. Barrier entry, vehicle plate registration (Read our 1's as i's). 5 minute walk to medieval city of Perouges, well worth a stop. You pay at ticket machines outside tourist information. It's 50 cents every 15 minutes, with a maximum charge of €6 between 0900 - 1730, then it's free 1730 to midnight, and then another €6 charge from midnight to 0900....
Quiet place, free from 5:30 p.m. to midnight; afterwards you pay, but the maximum is €6. To the side, without going through the barriers, there is a disabled parking space, where we stayed peacefully while visiting the village.
We also entered at night and confirm that you can only enter from the exit side, which has no barrier. Be careful, because with a motorhome of at least seven metres this manoeuvre can only be done in reverse. Otherwise, a very peaceful car park close to the historic centre.
Excellent. Good parking, with shade, spacious spaces and very close to the village.
Parking during the day and in the busier tourist season, really more intended for cars. We were lucky to find a space, but if one more car had arrived it would have been impossible. Narrow entrance but manageable (7 m). Convenient for its proximity to the medieval city. Quite a lot of turnover in the spaces.
The machine doesn’t work at night; several of us entered through the exit. It was working in the morning. The area is very quiet, close to the village, and hiking trails start right there. No services apart from a rubbish bin, but it’s perfectly fine!
4 for the proximity to Pérouges, the large amount of space, the great tranquillity, and only €3 with no time limit. We were there the day before yesterday with our 9 m vehicle: we easily found a place for the night on the left, and it was flat enough to level up with your jacks. Narrow entrance but no problem. Easy exit.
Service-free area, very convenient for spending a night or simply visiting the medieval city. Flat-rate price €3. Flat ground on the left, slightly sloping elsewhere. Quiet at night. We recommend it.
Perfect parking for visiting the village and spending the night, for only €3. Peaceful surroundings and an area with toilets. We were there at the end of May and workers were operating an excavator early in the morning (a warning for those who like to sleep late).
Very good spot for a night!
