This is a shaded roadside picnic area with about 16 car spaces, six tables and rubbish bins. It is free and has no services or toilets. Traffic is somewhat noisy, so overnight parking is not recommended.

Shaded parking, which is not common on the Maurienne road. Quiet and peaceful; only the traffic noise is a little bothersome.
Lots of shade for the dogs, and for us too. About 16 car spaces, 6 tables, bins—in short, finally a real rest area on this road!
For an overnight stop. More pleasant than a motorhome area where you are packed together like sardines. No services… So what? We are supposed to be self-sufficient and it is free. Respect nature and everything will be fine.
Very good for a picnic on the way back. No noisier than a motorway rest area, but the surroundings are much more pleasant and clean. Tables, benches and bins available.
