132 route de l’Arve, 74190, Passy
Been here?
A campsite on a 6.5-hectare wooded clearing, with large pitches, renovated sanitary facilities and views of Mont Blanc. The lake of Passy is 500meters away, and the site has a swimming lake nearby, a restaurant, and friendly reception. Recent reports describe poor maintenance, abandoned sanitary facilities and animal droppings. The motorway and railway can create significant noise, while a pitch costs 19 euros per night with sanitary facilities.

Top-notch welcome, but a ghost campsite. The restaurant staff seem to have left because the restaurant is closing. The lodges are empty, making it seem as though the campsite has been abandoned. What a shame, because it is a pleasant place if it were not next to the motorway. €19 per night with facilities remains a good emergency option.
What a shame: friendly welcome and beautiful pitches, but the ground is covered with droppings, the facilities have been left to deteriorate, and the campsite is not maintained. It is a shame because there is a lovely view of the mountains and Lake Passy is 500 metres away.
“Incredible view”—it depends on where you are placed. There is a motorway on one side and a railway line on the other, so it is very noisy. The toilets and showers really leave a lot to be desired. To top it all off, the emptying and water services cost €2 (two €1 coins).
Quiet place away from the hustle and bustle of the Chamonix valley. We had no problem finding free pitches. Good views of Mont Blanc. A nearby lake for cooling off. Possibility of many mountain-bike routes. Recommended.
Superb view of Mont Blanc. Lake very close for swimming. Large pitches, shaded or not. Old sanitary facilities renovated and very clean. The nearby motorway causes no disturbance. Very pleasant reception staff. We recommend it.
Perfect welcome for a last-minute stay. Pitch not marked out and bins at the opposite end of the campsite (depending on our pitch). Could not try the restaurant because it was full. Clean facilities but lacking lights. Doing the dishes only with the shower lights is borderline. Superb view of Mont Blanc and possibility of walking to the lake.
The campsite could be good, with the possibility of walking to Lake Passy to swim. The facilities are not cleaned regularly and the grounds are poorly maintained.
Perfect welcome. Pitches are not marked out and maintenance is lacking (tall grass). Clean facilities, with enough of them. Restaurant on site. Beautiful view of Mont Blanc.
Positive point: the peace and quiet. Negative points: poorly maintained, dubious clientele, and the photos on Park4night sell a much better dream than reality...
Unfortunately, we were not really welcome. The reception supposedly had staff even though it was not open. Nobody made the effort to serve us or even let us onto the site so we could sort everything out later, and there was still plenty of space. We drove on and will give our money to someone else.
Perfect welcome. Choice of pitches, with or without electricity. Two open and renovated sanitary blocks. View of the Mont Blanc massif. The campsite is between the White Motorway and the railway, which may bother some people. Personally, the noise level is acceptable. Price: €28.20 for two adults and two children, plus electricity.
Very good campsite with a superb view of Mont Blanc. Depending on the pitch, you cannot hear the motorway at all. Large shaded spaces; you are not packed together. Part of the campsite is being renovated, but the available sanitary blocks are sufficient and fairly clean. Accepts holiday vouchers.
