Lake parking, morning noise

I actually wanted to stay here for one night while passing through. But after a short walk with the dog, I drove on. The lake is no good for either dogs or people and seemed more like a park-and-ride area. I didn't like it.

We spent one weekday night here. The road alongside it is very busy in the morning and the parking area is used for carpooling (P+R), so it is very noisy in the morning from 6:30 to 8:30.

We stopped to cool off in the lake nearby (Lake Teningen, right opposite) and had lunch in the car park. There is quite a lot of activity, but we were comfortable. Highly recommended!

We spent a couple of nights without any problems. You can hear the nearby road a little, and it is a very busy car park, from 8:00 when workers arrive until midnight when people come here to do who knows what. You can park a long vehicle with the overhang extending over the ground. In the afternoon there are few people; you can eat and dine outside if you have chairs and a table.

Moderately quiet, moderately peaceful. Quick access back to the motorway, with a bakery and other things in the nearby village. The lake and meadow are nice to look at.

Fine when dry; when wet, it would probably be a muddy mess with puddles. The ground is somewhat uneven, with slight depressions. Although it is isolated, we went to the nearby industrial area, which is also isolated but at least illuminated.

Good place, with a great free lake directly across the road.

Totally fine for one night! You can hear the motorway, but that also means you can get back onto it quickly the next morning!

It is what it is: a parking area used as a park-and-ride. There is always activity. It is sufficient for one night while passing through.

Great place to spend the night. We felt safe, and the nearby town had everything we needed. Perfect when passing through, and as so often, we shared it with another camper.

Perfect place for one night during a long journey. Clean and relaxed, with the lake directly opposite for cooling off. If motorway noise does not bother you, this is the perfect place! Please leave it clean!

Good place for one night. Ideal for a break on the way to France. A little dusty. You feel safe because commuters use the parking area. Pretty little lake.

Car park—only suitable for short motorhomes. We swam in the lake, which was very nice, and naturism is also possible. It was too noisy for us at night, right next to the motorway, so we moved on.
