Been here?
This calm campsite is 7km from Geiranger, surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and a nearby stream. It has grass pitches, gray-water drainage, toilets, WiFi, a kitchen with hob and oven, and a warm indoor seating area. Showers cost 10Nok for 5 minutes, and not all pitches have electricity. A walk from the campsite leads to a waterfall, while cottages and tents are also available.

Nice campsite very close to Geiranger. From the campsite you can walk straight to a waterfall. Most guests stay one night and are passing through. Facilities are fine; showers require a token bought at reception. Not all pitches have electricity. There are also cabins and tents for rent.Translating
Very nice place, beautifully located. We liked it much better than the campsites in Geiranger. Unfortunately, there are only two showers in the men's area. In the morning I had to queue.Translating
The campsite is surrounded by mountain cliffs, next to the rapids and only 23 minutes from the Geirangerfjord. Perfect, as you experience two magical views at once while staying much more secluded than at the fjord campsite. Good service and fresh, clean toilets too.Translating
Cheaper than directly in Geiranger and still very close. Beautiful place with a waterfall hike (ask at reception!). I can only agree with what has already been said about the sanitary facilities and kitchen, but I would come again. Great common room; they showed the Norway match of the World Cup. Not very touristy—definitely walk around the site too.Translating
Beautiful, pleasant campsite. Excellent showers and underfloor heating. For those interested: there is a television in the common room showing the World Cup.Translating
Beautiful, quiet campsite—apart from the waterfall. Mountains and waterfalls all around. Dreamlike. Showers are clean but rather basic. Five minutes for NOK 10. Friendly reception. About 500 m from a small waterfall.Translating
A campsite we loved. Lots of space. Magnificent site on the road to the Dalsnibba viewpoint. Absolute peace and quiet. Immaculate sanitary facilities.Translating
Great location! Very beautiful and quiet grounds, friendly welcome, good sanitary facilities, with toilets, washing area and showers separate. Everything was very clean and we would book again anytime.Translating
Camping in a magnificent setting, with an extremely friendly welcome. We spent one night and used the sanitary facilities, washing machine and dryer; everything was perfect! Waking up in this place surrounded by mountains is wonderful. It is very relaxing, and we recommend it.Translating
very quiet, peaceful in beginning of September. minimal facilities didn't bother us, since there were only handful of caravans.
The location is great. Toilets and washroom were clean, but unfortunately the showers were not clean at all. Also, at NOK 370 for two people and a car without electricity, we thought it was rather expensive.Translating
Campsite with acceptable facilities, but insufficient if the campsite is full. We came here because there was no space in Geiranger. The place is very quiet, but beware of the mud. It lacks something for children to play with. We stayed on 12 August; the receptionist was very kind and helped us with everything she could.Translating
The campsite is great, friendly welcome. The downsides are the paid shower and the cabin I had was dilapidated (apparently one of the last to be renovated), and the sofas were very dirty.Translating
Nice place, but expensive for what is offered and one washing maschine / two showers per gender for the number of visitors seems like a joke. especially an additional washing machine could be easily added....
it is a nice place and the people are so accomodating and helpful. i just can't give a 5 star cause they do not have enough services: only one washing machine and dryer, 2 showers for each men and women and one tiny kitchen. they need to add more. and maybe cleaning of bathrooms needs to also be done earlier in the morning, not around 10am. but overall, we are pleased with our stay.
Beautiful, clean, with wonderful surroundings. Be careful: if you want to do laundry, they have only one washing machine and one dryer. Programs cannot be set for less than one hour. If a few people are ahead of you, doing laundry takes the whole day or night. I recommend the campsite and would come back again.Translating
Excellent site, friendly helpful staff, clean and beautiful location. we normally wildcamp but stopped here to wash ourselves and our cloths. Great value. Fills up fast, we arrived at 1400 with just a few campervans here by 1800 the place was stuffed full.
We arrived in four hours and there were few campers and/or tents. When we went to bed, the campsite was completely full. The sanitary facilities are neat and the surroundings beautiful. Recommended.Translating
The site and infrastructure are okay, and it is very quiet. When it rains, the pitches are usually difficult to drive on.Translating
Large but quiet campsite. The washhouse is getting old, but clean. The fresh- and grey-water filling and disposal facilities were very well designed. From the campsite you could take a short hike to a beautiful waterfall. Very worth seeing and also manageable with dogs. Generally a lovely place for dog owners, with lots of grass.Translating
Very nice site above the fjord. The pitches are simple (grass) and level. The sanitary facilities are a few years old but clean and in good condition. We felt very comfortable here and would come again.Translating
Beautiful campsite between the mountains, not overcrowded in mid-June. Equipped with a small kitchen without dishes, clean showers and toilets. A small common room with larger tables is available.Translating
We were initially at the hilly campsite on the plain. Two showers with space to put things are available. Shower time is five minutes. Four toilets, grey-water disposal, fresh water, cooking facilities and several washbasins. The socket for a hairdryer is under the light strip in the washroom. Everything is very clean. Bread rolls for breakfast can be ordered. Drinks, eggs and snacks can be purchased.Translating
Considering where you are, the price is really okay. German-speaking staff at reception. You can choose your own pitch. Good location below the Dalsnibba attraction, yet still very quiet. Well-equipped kitchen, clean toilet and shower. Shower tokens are available at reception. We stayed here with a roof tent for one night: pitch with electricity, two people, and two five-minute shower tokens, for NOK 390.Translating
Very quiet campsite in the middle of nature with everything you need, including a washing machine and dryer. The owner speaks a little French. The facilities are very clean; you can go there without hesitation!
During our visit (14 May 2025), only one toilet/shower was open, which was not a problem because there were few people. The campsite is very quiet and ideal for the region.
