Waterfall picnic stop, little traffic

We slept in a van near the picnic area. There is a river and waterfalls. The view is magnificent. Children can play in the mountains behind. There was no wind. No traffic at all—absolute peace and quiet. Except in the morning, when people head toward the ghost town. No need to go farther; it is less pleasant there. This is the best place on this road.✦Translating

Nice and quiet spot for lunch or to take a break after the late ferry. The road is very quiet and paved, but has some potholes. Perfectly manageable with a regular car or camper.✦Translating
