Small parking area on the D992 beside the bridge separating Lac de Faux, with a lake view. It is flat and suitable for a stop, fishing, swimming, walking and overnight stays, although it is close to the road and somewhat enclosed. A walk around the lake is available, and the village of Faux-la-Montagne is about 500 m away with shops and services. There are no toilets or other services.

Good for a stop and a hike, but in a hollow and close to the road. In short, there are better places nearby.
Nice spot for three motorhomes, with a lovely walk around the lake.
Nice lake for a stop. Swimming, hiking around the lake. The village of Faux-la-Montagne has all services.
Very quiet spot outside the high season (we were there in April). Nice view of the lake, with little car traffic on the adjacent road. No toilets. Close to the village of Faux-la-Montagne (grocery store/bakery and bar/restaurant).
Magnificent view of the lake and the start of a hiking trail. Admittedly, it is a small parking area beside a minor road with no services, but you can park with the rear toward the road and face the trees. Not isolated, as the village with shops is 500 m away. No problem staying one night in March, and there was magnificent mist over the sunlit lake when we woke up. Flat ground. Passing hikers.
Just a stop; a very pleasant 5 km hike around the lake.
