7 Camino Portillo, 26292, Villalba de Rioja
Been here?
A steep wild spot with a view reaching up to 40km in clear weather, plus modern tables for eating. The higher area, about 100mts farther along the track, is more level and spacious. The location is generally peaceful, although evening visitors and occasional road traffic can create noise, and large motorhomes may struggle with access.

Very quiet place, ideal for sleeping. We slept a little higher up, about 100 metres up the road, where it is flatter and there is more space. Excellent spot, highly recommended.Translating
Peaceful place with a very beautiful view. Vehicles pass in the evening to admire the sunset, but the night was very quiet.Translating
Beautiful, peaceful place with a lovely view over the village. You have to drive right to the top.Translating
The view is phenomenal, but I have to give only two stars because unfortunately, the place changed significantly (see my picture attached). It’s now with video surveillance, modern tables and you can’t park in front of the platform but you have to park next to the street which is unexpectedly frequently used. I do recommend this place for a beautiful dinner!
Beautiful place, noisy at night and early in the morning because young people visited the site and farmers were working with their machinery. Great view. The picnic area was recently renovated. Easily accessible with our 6-metre Grand California. Not recommended for large motorhomes, as there are no good turning options and the village before the site has very narrow streets.Translating
If you have a large motorhome, you need to pay attention to how you drive through the last village. There are sometimes cars, and you have to share the narrow streets with them. The spot is fantastic, but very sloping.Translating
