Unnamed Road, AB35 5YJ
Been here?
A small, quiet car park on a dead-end road with space for about 3 vehicles. It offers stunning views across the valley towards Mar Lodge, with very little traffic and some shelter from the road. Deer can sometimes be seen in the valley early in the morning.

Gorgeous spot, two motorhomes as well as my caddy camper view are stunning. Deer on the river if your up early enough is a wonder to watch
Amazing! Very quiet and 3 places. Really nice view and not that windy.
Beautiful view across the plain towards Mar Lodge. We shared the spot with four other campers. Hikes in the Mar Lodge Estate are highly recommended, with a beautiful forest.
Very beautiful spot. Magnificent view. The road is almost empty at this time of year. Hardly a car since 5 p.m. And because of the trees between the road and the spot, you cannot hear them anyway. One or two bars of LTE reception. Definitely recommended.
Great spot!
Fantastic spot if there’s room.Wonderful views and very quiet
Best spot all week. Had it to ourselves on the night, tried later in the week and 2 vans already so moved on. Stunning view and minimal cars at night
Great spot. You are parked beautifully, and it is not as cramped as in the first lay-by. Level ground, quiet, beautiful view.
Magnificent spot with an incredible view over the Dee Valley—the place to choose after hiking in the Linn of Dee.
Super nice little spot, space for at least 3/4 vans. The nearby small road was extremely quiet with just a few cars stopping by in the morning to take some pictures. Gorgeous view of the valley.
Perfect for one night! With a view of deer in the valley ;)
Very nice place because of the expansive view over the River Dee, sheep and lots of deer. Quieter and more sheltered from the road by trees than the also beautiful spots along the A93.
Wonderful spot away from the road with a magnificent view, fairly level, space for four motorhomes up to 7 m.
Super quiet spot, the view is magnificent!! Very little traffic because the road is one-way and up in the hills. We were in a motorhome!
Amazing view! Spent one night in the van, and nobody around until morning. There was some light traffic on the nearby road. It was windy, although I was protected from the trees.
Superb view. Hidden from the road by the trees.
Magnificent spot! Recommended if you are self-sufficient and want a fantastic view.
I am afraid of repeating the comments of other reviewers: magnificent view over the river's meanders and a great spot for observing wildlife and listening to the deer rut on the opposite slopes. Don't forget a good pair of binoculars.
