Unnamed Road, 3895
Been here?
A secluded wild spot about 200 meters off the road, with multiple pitches and excellent views of mountains and lakes. It is reached by a gravel road, may require levelling, and has no supplies, but offers phone signal, swimming, boating, and nearby hikes including Mount Kista at 1km. The area fills quickly, can be crowded, and may become very windy at night.

Very beautiful spot in the mountains, sufficiently far from the E134—you can barely hear it. Beautiful views of mountains and lakes, with good opportunities for hiking. The spots up here are obviously very popular and fill up quickly, so arriving early is worthwhile. A strong wind blows at night.
Beautiful pitch and a good starting point for hikes. This and the other pitches fill up quickly, so it is not worth arriving too late. Generally very busy. If you want to stand undisturbed, this is unfortunately not the right place.
Great spot with an amazing view! A small lake on each side for swimming, and the hike to Mount Kista is 1 km away. The place is quite spacious; there were seven vehicles without being cramped. The only drawback: quite a lot of traffic on the gravel path this season.
Beautiful spot on a gravel road. Levelling may be required. Good phone signal. Sunset over lake in the evening. Access to the lake for swimming/boating. Walks to nearby mountains and cafe on busy main road
Multiple single spots for privacy, all with amazing views
Probably great, but the gravel road in is still snowbound, so inaccessible
Superb view! However, it is somewhat uneven. We stayed here with two other campers and had a peaceful night. It can also quickly become stormy and cold here. You can start various hikes directly from the spot. Highly recommended! We did not feel that we were disturbing anyone; to keep it that way, please leave this beautiful place clean :)
A dream!! In good weather, there are hardly any more beautiful views. Highly recommended.
Beautiful view. It can be windy, although less windy spots can also be found. Sheep walked past. Good opportunities for hiking. Despite changeable weather, we had two wonderfully peaceful nights.
Amazing view!!! Many little secluded spots in this area. Quiet 24/7. You can walk down to the lake. It also looked like you can swim there. Obviously, there are some mosquitoes around in summer, but that did not bother us that much.
Great spot but very windy. :) There are generally many places to stand along the road. Really beautiful, with several signposted hiking trails at the end.
Extraordinary, magnificent, idyllic Quiet, with superb hikes, swimming possible
A really great spot; even in high season it is very quiet from evening until morning. During the day there is the visitor traffic mentioned, but it is not very disturbing! Please keep it cleaner—this applies to all the places along this road, otherwise it will eventually be closed!
Despite the rain and wind, a beautiful place to spend the night. Perfect starting point for shorter and longer hikes.
Parking bay on a gravel road on the way to the car park at Haukelifjell. Very uneven and rocky, but the fantastic view makes up for it. No traffic at all at night; many motorhomes drive around looking for parking during the day.
