Fjordside plateau, difficult after rain

A flat fjord-side plateau beside a monument, with a small pier, shallow beach and magnificent scenery. The E6 can be heard, but nights are usually quiet, although trucks and motorhomes may be noisy depending on the wind. There are no services and no mobile signal. Strong rain can make the gravel difficult and cause vehicles to get stuck.

Good place for one night directly by the fjord. The E6 can be heard, but it is quiet at night. Otherwise, there is relatively little traffic. Trucks and motorhomes are rather noisy, but it also depends on the wind direction.
Fantastic place! Easy to reach too. We were treated to a large herd of reindeer walking around in the water!
Not accessible with a motorhome… only with an old or narrow vehicle.

A very beautiful place by the water, enhanced by a lovely sculpture. A little away from the road, we spent a peaceful night there. No services. Warning! Oystercatchers (orange-billed birds) nest among the pebbles. Take care not to frighten them and, above all, do not crush their eggs!

A beautiful camping spot. Perfect for one night. Far enough from the E6. You can't hear a peep from the road. You could also launch small boats into the water here, for paddling or (ice) swimming, etc. Thanks for this beautiful spot.
Back six years later, we found a redesigned (smaller) site that separates the monument from the actual parking area. The access track has been resurfaced and is accessible to all vehicles. Still incredibly peaceful and far from the road.
