Been here?
A scenic wild spot under railway bridge arches beside the Amblève river, with shade, rocky banks, nearby lawns and access to the water. It is suitable for walking, mountain biking and cooling off, with space for 2 campers under each arch and access for a camper of 8 meters long and 2.40 meters wide. There are no services, and frequent controls have resulted in a 300 euro fine and visitors being sent away. Trains pass regularly, and the arches can be echoing.

Perfect place, ideal for cooling off and resting. Be careful, there are horseflies and also a lovely raccoon, but you must neither feed it nor try to pet it—it is a wild animal. No services. Take your rubbish with you, including tissues used for urinating and cigarette butts, thank you.Translating
I was fined €300 and sent away. I was told to post on Park4night that anyone else who comes here and is caught will be fined. A shame, because it is a very beautiful place, but the forest ranger said there are frequent checks. You have been warned.Translating
Beautiful spot, with a stream where you can bathe.Translating
Beautiful place; stayed for three nights. The third was a little less pleasant because some young people came to party, but the surroundings cannot be blamed for that—they are beautiful. We even saw fireflies. It was wonderful.Translating
A very nice place to stay. It is a real shame that there are rude people who park across the width so nobody else can fit. There is enough room for two campers under each arch. That means giving everyone a place. Incredible.Translating
Beautiful location, easy to reach. There is one camper under each arch, so you are not alone. Water is easily accessible.Translating
Amazing spot. I was lucky with understanding travellers who saw me and picked another bow. Calming spot with a wonderful view next to the river. Nice rocky banks in the sun to sit on or do dishes. Fireplaces and even some wood kept dry under the bridge! Thanks people! Also pretty clean.
This location is quite overrated. Under the arches everything is extremely noisy, so bear that in mind, especially if you are sharing an arch with an unknown passer-by. The train that passes fairly regularly is not directly disturbing, but it is a shame at this otherwise pleasant place. We stayed here on New Year’s Eve; it was wonderfully quiet and we did not hear any fireworks.Translating
Perfectly accessible with a larger motorhome; we are here with an 8-metre-long, 2.40-metre-wide motorhome. Beautiful place and perfect for going on walks. Take your rubbish with you; overall it is a clean place, but unfortunately someone left a rubbish bag behind.Translating
Nice place, but extremely busy.Translating
Beautiful, peaceful and quiet place! Via a country lane full of potholes—and, for us at the time, full of water—you can already see the bridge with its beautiful arches appearing ahead! You stand on small stones, level, with a view of the mountains; behind you is a field with a few cows and, amazingly, a red deer with a large antler rack, while beside you a babbling stream flows. Blissful!Translating
We planned to stay here for one night but ended up staying for two! Beautiful and peaceful! Highly recommended.Translating
One of the most beautiful places where we have camped so far. For one thing, the bridge itself is impressive. Then there are fire pits (bring your own wood!) and access to the river for swimming. Everything is quiet, at least during the week. I can imagine that groups might come here at weekends and have parties… Please leave this place clean so that we can continue using it for a long time.Translating
Great. Recommended! Arrival Saturday 11:30 until Sunday 11:30 (30°C in August), so it was busy. There was at least one car under every arch. But cars come and go, and some are only there during the day to fish or swim. You do not notice the others. No slope, swimming, making fires, beautiful views. No trains passed (weekend). No bins. Keep the place beautiful.Translating
Nice place protected from the rain; there were indeed quite a few people, probably because of the rain. To respond to the previous comment, we left space and a lady came and parked next to us. When parking, try to leave room for two vans, because this place is very practical in rainy weather. Magnificent scenery!Translating
Excellent location by the river. There were quite a lot of visitors; some drove away because there was no more space. We were the only ones who moved over to one side so that someone else could park under the arch; everyone else parked across the entire arch, leaving no room for anyone else.Translating
Beautiful location. Complete peace and quiet.Translating
Great place. We had an arch all to ourselves. We were not bothered by the trains.Translating
A person with a large pickup truck came to make us leave at around 11:30 p.m., but otherwise it is a beautiful place.Translating
