Been here?
A free gravel car park beside the road, with level spaces, room for several vans and pleasant walks by the stream and river. Overnight stays have been peaceful, although dog walkers and some morning traffic are common. There are no toilets, services or bins, so take all rubbish with you. The area has usable 4G signal and no signs prohibiting overnight parking.

Peacefull night even if the carpark is right on the road. In the evening it actually was really quiet. Were with 2 other Campers, but no bother at all. Pretty good spot if you want a free one.
peaceful park up, the road is closed at the mo so no passing traffic, 2 other campers, nice little walk by the stream in the morning
Lovely spot, nice and level and plenty of room. Busy with dog walkers but very quiet overnight. Road was closed just after so it was nice to know there wouldnt be any through traffic. No bins though so take your litter with you.
Tucked away from the road, nice and quiet, no problems.
We had the whole car park to ourselves. Plenty of room for several vans. Had a very peaceful night, was woken up at 7am by a dog walkers. There's a lovely walk by the river. Would definitely stay again.
We liked this spot (lots of shade). Very few overnight vans…but plenty of walkers park here in the morning.
Nice remote spot in the woods for overnight and getting out. Plenty of parking space, a few nice trails and walks around and very very quiet. No services or bins so bring everything you need. Serviceable 4G signal. Cars as said are quiet around 10/11 til morning for a good night's sleep. Stayed a couple nights no trouble.
This is just outside the Dartmoor main areas so seems ok to stay the night. We stayed a night no problems. Nice walks from here. Quiet night- a few cars pass from 7.30am but not many.
Stopped en route to Cornwall. It’s quiet and safe for overnight park. Fell asleep to the sound of the river. Beautiful forest for walking (it’s quite steep). It does get busy in the morning with walkers & cyclists though. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet spot outside of Exeter
Nice little flat spot. nice walks. NO SIGNS TO SAY CANT PARK OVERNIGHT (please change to day/night parking)
I love this place. There are no signs saying you can't stay overnight, it's peaceful, you can hear the river, the walk through the woods (down the road on the other side of the bridge) is absolutely beautiful. I get good 4g here. Only gave it 4 stars because there's no facilities, not even bins, but that doesn't bother me.
