Been here?
A quiet, clean and well-maintained motorhome area in a small Spessart village, with mostly level pitches and a small playground. Overnight stays are free, while electricity costs 1€ for 3 hours, 2€ for 6 hours or 3€ for 9 hours; water and supply and disposal are paid. A bakery, butcher and restaurants are within 3 minutes’ walk, with good hiking nearby. Six marked motorhome spaces are listed, and the area may also be used by trailers.

The site is closed from Sat 25 July 2026 until 2 August 2026 because of a festival!!! We were still able to use it and would like to thank the municipality for this beautifully laid-out, peaceful place. We wish there were more places like this instead of concrete wastelands! We are happy to leave a donation in the donation box!!
Electricity has cost money since Whitsun 2025: 3 hours €1, 6 hours €2, 9 hours €3. Six spaces are designated. Additional parking spaces may be used. Excellent for exploring the surrounding area. Officially, the site may be used as a storage area for trailers. The motorhome spaces are in the middle between the trees. The sides should be for cars.
Lovely motorhome site. Highly recommended. Donation box by the electricity connection (small slot).
A nice site in itself. Pros: beautiful location, nicely situated and lots of space. Full service facilities are available! Overnight stays are free. Tourists also bring money to the town. Cons: €1 for less than 50 litres of water (not 100 litres as stated) is outrageous. I have never experienced that anywhere else in Germany! The electricity price is also €1/kWh. Some long-term campers/parkers occupy two spaces at times. Roads in the town = roads to hell!
Great spot for the night. We were passing through and there were about ten other campers. Room for many more, near a village with a few shops. The site has paid facilities and excellent 5G. The ground was reasonably level everywhere and it was quiet, making for a good night's sleep.
Quiet site with service facilities; water and electricity available for a fee. Ideal for travelling through!
Quiet site. Perfectly fine for one night. Unfortunately, too few electricity points…
Neat site in a small Spessart village. Easy to reach. Very busy. Long-term campers with local number plates? Suitable for winter; snow was partly cleared. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Electricity column with a few minor faults. Electricity relatively expensive because it is time-based rather than consumption-based. Good mobile reception and free Bayern Wi-Fi.
A very nice site and many thanks to the municipality. Unfortunately, six of the eight spaces are being misused by local motorhomes as permanent parking. The old liner with its car occupies two spaces. Obviously newcomers to camping! The site also serves as a workshop for the old motorhomes until late in the evening. It is a shame that the town tolerates this.
It is not entirely clear where the spaces are. Better signage would be appropriate. Even worse, locals use this site as permanent storage, and other motorhome owners park their cars directly beside them, taking up an additional space—you are selfish!!
Nice place to stay for a night and a nice little village.
An excellent stopover location. Gravel parking pitches in the middle and several more grassy areas at the rear. Free toilet disposal. Very quiet all day and night except for the very close and very loud church bells at 6am that go for a few minutes. Didn’t bother us but if you are noise-sensitive it will wake you.
Wonderful and quiet at night. No traffic noise at all. Saturday evening was perfectly peaceful here! Beautiful place, with trees, lots of space and level pitches. The playground is very nice and suitable for several age groups. Church nearby. Bakery closed on Sundays. At the electricity column there is also an option to make a voluntary contribution for the overnight stay. Free Wi-Fi. A place to remember.
Excellent motorhome area, very quiet and well signposted. The only thing to note is that all paid services work ONLY with €1 coins!
Nice site for an overnight stay. It also seemed to us that some campers had settled in as if living there, staying longer. Unfortunately, the water dispenser does not state how much water you get for your money. It only accepts €1 coins. We paid €2 for water and did not even fill the tank halfway. Wi-Fi excellent!
We arrived at night at 11 p.m. on 1 August, and the parking area was occupied by benches and gazebos for the beer festival. We parked in the reserved area near the kids’ centre along the road; it was noisy, but my 7-metre vehicle just fitted. We had two beers and two lemonades. Little hospitality, though the waitress spoke English. Pretzels and pastries at the nearby bakery.
The site is unavailable this weekend (1–approximately 5 August).
Pleasant stay for a couple of nights, electricity now €1 for 3hours, water €1 , I needed €2 to fill. Children’s park. Seems to be some staying long term as it’s cheap.
For a free motorhome site, it is really great. Very quiet and everything is clean. During the day, there are occasional playground visitors, including drivers who like to crash into lampposts :D
Nice, very quiet site. Yes, there are church bells, but that is part of village life. Hiking trails start from the parking area (viewpoint with a lovely Stations of the Cross path). Excellent, very clean water disposal for €1. Bakery and butcher. Thank you to the municipality.
If there had not been so many potholes, I would have given 5 stars. Clean, quiet, level, with hiking trails. Not much for walking the dog. Facilities work, €1. I did not find where to leave my contribution. 4G okay. Thanks to the municipality; shops nearby.
A very nice site with service and disposal facilities, a small playground, and Netto 1.9 km away. Bakery and butcher within walking distance. Thanks to the municipality for this beautiful, quiet site.
I can only agree with the comments. I did not find the bells too bad, though. The paths are suitable not only for hiking but also for jogging. The signage is excellent and there is a hiking information board directly at the site. Many thanks to the municipality.
I am very satisfied. Unfortunately, I paid €2 for 12 hours of electricity, but the power went off after every 6 hours. So I had to insert money twice during the night! Otherwise, many, many thanks to the town! The electricity column accepted my donation without delivering anything.
A Christmas market will take place on the site next weekend, 30 November/1 December.
The site is clean and the disposal area is very good. It is okay for one overnight stay. Directly next to the church. At exactly 6:00 a.m., we were woken by four minutes of several bells ringing. Very, very loud. We will not return.
Really quiet place. Drinking water is working. 1 EUR/100 l. 6 electricity plugs, 1 EUR/6 hours. Be ready and have 1 EUR coins.
The site is as described. Not ideal with a dog because there is nowhere to walk it; everything around is built up. Dog waste bags are provided at the site, though. We had a quiet night. We would happily return.
