Free overnight parking, aircraft noise

We stayed overnight and can recommend it. We had a quiet night

We parked at the far end of the parking area on the sandy section. Even during peak season, there was enough space for our 7 m camper. Planes fly directly overhead as they approach the nearby airport, including a few during the night, so it can be quite noisy. However, it didn't bother us. Other than that, everything was fine, and it's a convenient place to stay.

We spent one quiet night and there was not even any noise from the planes or the church bell, which only starts ringing again at 7 a.m. There is space for three motorhomes up to 6 meters.

Everything was good. Not so much noise from street since it goes to roundabout and everyone is going slow (don't think I even noticed the cars noise). Loudest noise is from landing airplanes which pass right over your head and can be a bit scary first few times seeing their shadow next to you, but once you get used to it, it's fine. Still more like a city parking. Not super calm.

Past the church, on the right, there is a sandy area where you can sleep without problems. Petrol station 30 m away with toilets. Sun from early morning. You can hear the road, although it still allows you to rest. The loudest noise is from planes taking off and the church bell. Fine for one night.

The dirt section is closed, but you can park on the asphalt section. IMPORTANT: Park on the church side; in the row of cars opposite, the sun shines from 5 in the morning!

We started here for two nights with no issues. Some road noise, but a nice 20 minute walk into Trogir along the waterfront.

Again accessible. No signs, but busy parking and next to the road (noise). We only stayed a few hours to see the city. 15 min. walk to the centre.

No longer accessible
