Clean spacious area, included showers

The site is absolutely no longer recommended. I parked "incorrectly" and was reprimanded in the rudest way. My explanation that I did not have leveling ramps with me (the old ones were broken and the new ones had not arrived yet) was ignored. The site rules state that, for compelling reasons, parking the other way around is also permitted. I will not come here again.✦Translating

The negative point is the lack of free cassette emptying. In return, there are many amenities that you do not necessarily need. Nevertheless, we plan to come here again to attend one of the events on offer. If you like cycling, this is the perfect place.✦Translating

We stayed here for three days. Very clean sanitary facilities. Everything available. €15. Electricity charged according to consumption. Very nice lady at the tourist office (town hall). Excellent bus connections, for example to Leer. Ideal for cycling.✦Translating

Grey-water disposal very well designed; you do not need to maneuver and can continue driving in the direction of travel. Very friendly site manager, who gave us many tips. Many cycling routes. A really great site. Compliments to the municipality. It couldn't be better. Perhaps the only thing that could be slightly problematic is the pitches with grass surfaces in very wet weather. But that really is complaining at a high level.✦Translating

We have stayed at this site very often for several weeks. Back when it did not yet have the new sanitary building, which a self-sufficient motorhome does not need. The price-performance ratio was excellent then. But now they are overdoing it here too, as in many East Frisian municipalities. We will not come again. Real motorhome travelers do not need a sanitary building!✦Translating

The pitch fee more than doubled in 2025. A note here about the operational noise from the adjacent municipal works yard during operating hours. Private and personal comments should not be included here. Therefore I will refrain from further explanations. Pay and accept it, or... stay away!✦Translating

From 1 August 2025, the pitch costs €15 per day. An additional €2 for electricity if required. In return, the sanitary building can be used FREE OF CHARGE, without any time limit!!! It is cleaned every day! We will continue to come to this site!!!✦Translating

Very nice pitch, sanitary facilities very clean when all visitors behave themselves. Very friendly staff who come by twice a day. Value for money is completely fine even from 1 August 2025. We come here once or twice a year to visit relatives. We really enjoy staying here. This site is highly recommended.✦Translating

Thanks to the town for such a clean and lovingly prepared site. Unfortunately, there are motorhome travelers who steal the plugs from the sinks. What is that about? There is lots to discover in the surrounding area, and it is great for cycling too.✦Translating
