Quiet night in the rain—free overnight stays are so rare that this deserves five stars. Pretty little village preserved as it is, but lifeless in winter. We will return when the houses showcasing old trades are open. We chose this stop after visiting Mortemart.
Very quiet, the toilets are maintained. The site has picnic tables and a beautiful view. However, be aware that the ground is somewhat sloped and access may be difficult for motorhomes. Very good spot.
We visited the village. We parked at the top in the bus parking area. Quiet, because the official area is difficult to access. Well done to this village for having the idea of displaying old trades in uninhabited houses. A real trip back in time!! A delight. And the bistro owner is so friendly, as are the local shopkeepers. We loved it. Mano06
Sloping ground. Tables, water and toilets available. Pretty little village to visit.
Thank you to the town hall, perfect night with drinking water.
A truly beautiful pitch. I spent a very quiet night here. The facilities (water, toilets) are impeccable. Thank you to the municipality.
Great spot for vans behind the community hall (difficult access for motorhomes), with very clean toilets. Quiet place and charming village.
Very nice, peaceful and cool site where we spent an evening and a night levelling the van. Very warm welcome from a very friendly local resident. In the morning, a beautiful walk between Montrol and Mortemart, two lovely villages to visit. Toilets and drinking water are convenient. Thank you to the town hall!
Everything has been said in the comments. We spent 3 very peaceful nights here, with a very warm welcome from the villagers (especially at the shop “Un dimanche à la campagne”). Absolutely impeccable.
Wonderful place to sleep. We spent 2 nights and visited this beautiful village, which reminded us of life at the beginning of the 20th century, not forgetting the Chez Madeleine restaurant. You can walk to Mortemart to visit this village, classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France. Thank you to the municipality for this place. Pure happiness!
