A quiet, level parking area at the edge of the Calanca valley, next to a stream at the entrance to Augio village. A drinking water fountain has good-tasting water. Across the bridge a path leads to a waterfall visible from the parking area, with a small pool for swimming underneath. Traffic is minimal, and the setting is scenic.

Quiet and level place, with a waterfall in the background.Translating
This has been the best place we have stayed on our trip around Western Europe! The views are incredible and to wake up to them have been stunning! There is a water fountain and the water tastes gorgeous! Over the bridge to the left there is also a path if you follow it you will get to the waterfall that you can see from the car park. There is also a little pool where you can swim right up under!
