Jonsvannsveien, 7057, Trondheim
Been here?
A small gravel parking place for a short overnight stay, with a rubbish bin and hiking trails nearby. Recent comments report 1-2 places for motorhomes and a bus 10 stop close by, reaching central Trondheim in about 30 to 40 mm. The site is relatively quiet, but nearby housing, daytime walkers, joggers, and occasional road traffic affect the surroundings. It is not suitable for large campers.

1–2 spaces for motorhomes. Very good, with bus 10 stopping very close by. Download the AtB app—see photo. Works perfectly and reaches Nidaros Cathedral and Prinsens gate/shopping. This is an outdoor recreation area with good trails for those of us with dogs.
Not much space and not suitable for large motorhomes. We spent two very quiet nights here and went to Trondheim city centre by bus number 10, which stops right next to the site (44 NOK or 22 for seniors), taking about 30 to 40 minutes. We found it very convenient. To buy a bus ticket, use the app and select zone A in Trondheim.
A small, level space, but the residential buildings are very close. If you are passing through and only stop at night to sleep before continuing in the morning, it is certainly fine, or for a longer break. Otherwise, I would not consider the site for overnight stays.
Good for spending one night in a green setting, with many hiking trailheads.
Quiet, surrounded by woods, with no view of the nearby lake. There are rubbish bins. No internet coverage.
Directly above this site, through a few trees, you can see houses that are too close; there is also a fairly busy road next to it. We drove eight minutes farther (to 119 Estenstadvegen), where you are less likely to be disturbed and have much more space.
We spent one night here and slept peacefully. During the day, the place is occupied by joggers and dog walkers, but they leave in the evening. As the first cars arrive again in the morning, you should not block the spaces longer than necessary and should leave them clean. This prevents trouble with the local residents.
