Very good. Five minutes on foot from Lascaux IV, and it is really worth visiting!
Parking area with 15–20 free spaces in mid-October. Probably full in high season. Daytime parking only. Clean and gravelled. No services. No rubbish bin.
The first entrance is reserved exclusively for motorhomes! Parking allowed from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. From there, a signposted footpath leads to the entrance of Lascaux IV. Between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on 14 June 2025, there were always individual spaces available.
Parking much too small for such a busy site, and this wasn't even summer. We had to park in the car park near the fire station—not great :(. A shame, because the motorhome parking area is close to the entrance of Lascaux IV.
This is a parking area reserved for campers (the others have a height-restricted barrier) for visitors to Lascaux IV. Entrance about 500 metres away, with wide sidewalks. Overnight stays are NOT permitted.
The parking is okay... but so far from Lascaux IV!! It is flat but undersized!!
It is a daytime parking area for visiting Lascaux IV, a five-minute walk away. We arrived at 10:00 on Saturday and there was only one van; when we left around 2:00 p.m., there were only five vehicles. Fast-food restaurant along the way.
Parking much too small for the number of visitors, so it was full when we arrived—and when we left too. We had to improvise behind it along the road, but it's better to plan ahead... If you can find a space, there is no height limit.
Just a rant about motorhome owners who don't follow the rules! This parking area is forbidden from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., yet some people spent the night there! This kind of behavior is why we get a bad reputation! There were spaces at the motorhome area!

Lascaux Parking 2. Ten minutes' walk from the museum and visitor center. Great for visiting. Free.

Free parking, convenient for the village and Lascaux. Overnight parking prohibited. Not very large; we arrived in the late afternoon and still found a space.
