38 Skogveien, 6517, Kristiansund
Been here?
A basic campsite offering electricity, clean toilets and included hot showers. A stay for one person with a van costs 360 nok per night, while washing machines and dryers use 40 nok per coin. The airport is 100m away, with flights from 650am to about 2100, but the campsite is very quiet between flights. Some pitches become boggy after rain.

Look at the map. Kristiansund airport is 100m from the campsite. Planes and helicopters use the airport. Between flights ( which start at 650am and finish about 2100) the camp is amazingly quiet. Facilities are clean. Staff are friendly. Nice walks and shops nearby. The pitches get boggy after rain, not great for big vans. Airtraffic is considerable but you pay your money and make your choice.
Cosy campsite! Very nice and genuinely generous operators, fair price. Very pleasant, clean and heated common room and kitchen. Especially great in bad weather. Everything you need is available! Very clean sanitary facilities, unlimited very hot showers included.
Very enjoyable campsite; the toilets and showers are excellent, as are the kitchen and living room. Warm welcome, with various places to set up.
The site is okay—not a particularly beautiful view, but idyllic. Sanitary facilities were clean and free. We stayed with our car and roof tent in the rear area. Toilets and a small kitchen with seating were also available there, which was especially useful in the rain. We paid 185 NOK for one night. It was excellent value.
The site is somewhat hidden in the forest. There are three possible areas. We stayed by the main building. Staff very friendly. At the back there is a small hut for cooking and washing up. Everything you need is available. It was very quiet.
The site cannot be used because the lawn is not driveable. Only the spaces behind the house along the road can be used. Cars are constantly driving in and out; cars are washed with the drinking-water hose. This is not how we know Norway, even though we have been travelling around the country for 20 years.
360 nok per night - one person with van. Electricity (partially long wire needed) and hot, unlimited shower (2 per gender) included. Everything clean. Washing machine and dryer with coins - 40 nok/coin. When you throw in the coin you can use the washing machine for 120 minutes. Same for the dryer. Right now you can just use the campsite around the main house because the rest is too muddy.
Pleasant rural setting at a reasonable price. The showers are neither paid nor timed. All services are available and clean. There is only one washing machine, but it is also free. The staff are charming, and you can leave as late as early afternoon. What more could you ask for?
Clean toilets and free showers. 175 NOK for a tent.
Fine for one night. The meadow was very muddy and the toilet block there was more than borderline.
Very beautiful, large site with lovely trees. Very kind and helpful operators. Clean sanitary facilities and everything included in the price. In our case, we did not even have to pay anything; our stay was given to us because nobody was present when we left. The airport was not disruptive at all because there were no flights at night. We are happy to recommend the site!
Okay for one night, as we wanted to take the ferry to Smøla. However, the large area is very muddy. We did not want to park directly by the main building because everything there is sloped. On the large area there is only a makeshift “hut” with a toilet and somewhere to wash dishes. Since nobody wanted to walk to the main building, we had to share it with 15 others.
The campsite has a very mediocre reception: pay, then find your own place. On a vague piece of paper, they pointed out where you could look, including where the electricity was. After we had been there for two hours, they came to tell us we were in the wrong place, on the edge of the tent field, where there were two tents and room for another ten. The sanitary facilities are clean, but old-fashioned and cramped, and limited when the campsite is full.
Very cosy site. We stayed for one night with a tent and car and paid 190 NOK. Showers, kitchen and common room are included. We would come back anytime :)
Fine for passing through. Older sanitary facilities, kitchen not recommended, but clean overall. We stayed up by the main building, as the lower meadow was very muddy and had no infrastructure at all.
The price is currently 330 NOK. The meadow below looked damp, although it had also rained in recent days.
Large, beautiful site, showers included. Everything is somewhat old, but nicely clean. There is an airport next door, making it very noisy during take-offs and landings! However, there was no air traffic at night, only in the evening and then again in the morning. Great for one night while passing through. The meadow was not muddy for us; it looked well maintained and in good condition.
We stayed here for one night. Everything is a little dated, but it works. We were allowed to choose where to park; we stayed on the upper meadow, but if it rains even a little, the meadow becomes very muddy. So it is better to check the weather forecast beforehand.
Idyllic campsite. Reception is somewhat hidden (up the stairs at the little hut) and not always staffed. The phone number is posted there—just call. Stove, microwave, washing-up liquid, washing machine (with detergent), dryer and clothes airer available. Warning: the machine must be opened before the time expires, otherwise the door will not open. Airport next door, sometimes noisy during the day. Quiet at night, approximately 9 p.m.–6 a.m.
