Sloping belvedere parking, valley view

"It is breathtakingly beautiful!" (The Towering Inferno) The parking area is very easily accessible by motorhome. It is sloped, but deserted at night, and just a short distance away offers a splendid view of the Cirque de Consolation from a rocky spur from which a priest supposedly fell. Coincidence? In any case, the view is breathtaking. No rubbish bin, but there are chamois and horses.✦Translating

The place is very natural and, if you are lucky, you may see chamois. Do not hesitate to go down into the valley to visit the cloister, where there is a nice parking area.✦Translating
