Great, safe place to stay overnight. We paid £13.10 for 24 hours. The nearby toilets are adequate opposite the carpark and there are others in the Stade building 350 yards away. Hastings Old Town is worth a visit, as is the free shipwreck museum right next to the car park. Crown Inn 2 minutes away up a side street does great food and cider. Height restrictions are 2.2 metres
Very nice parking area! Overnight stay from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. the next morning costs only £3, as it is free at night. Pay at the machine or via the app. The marked parking space is only for boat members (closed off), but everything next to it is free, including the beach. Very busy on Saturdays because of anglers, but everyone is very nice and friendly. Highly recommended!Translating
Perfect place to park. £13.10 for 24 hours. Right by the beach. Toilets nearby- not the nicest but will do. These ones are right by the entrance of the car park. Closed after 9pm. Not sure what time the ones further towards town are closed though.Right in the old town by the steep railway track thingy. Perfectly placed by everything you need. Definitely going back in summer
5/5, brilliant views and plenty of parking. however, the toilets are locked at night and are around 350m away from parking. would reccomend to plan ahead if travelling without a toilet.
Loved this spot! Right on the beach. Next to the Old Town Nearby toilets were clean and open 7am to 10pm. Stayed here mid-August and surprisingly hardly anyone else here overnight. Felt safe. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely night here, lots of others doing the same & night fishing, however enough space for everyone and no awkwardness or much noise for a Saturday night. Police knocked and checked on cars just after midnight, but were polite and wished us a lovely night. Will definitely be returning
Had 2 lovely nights here in April 25. £13.20 for 24 hours. Lovely and quiet in the evening, a few other campers parked up. I would imagine it gets really busy in the summer months.
We stayed in our tentbox. Beautiful location & was so peaceful going to sleep. parked near the far entrance - meant we had a few cars driving past us in the night. I would go into the main car park next time but cars turned up there in middle of the night to hangout. A dog walker turned up at 4.45. Some disturbance. We weren't moved on. Toilets nearby which are locked in the evening / open early
Beautiful place but didn’t get locked at 11 as indicated, lots of boy racers & did not feel safe. first few hours were great though
Amazing car park to pitch up for the night. £13.20 pay at machine for 24hrs. Parked up right in front of the beach. Close distance to pubs and restaurants and so close to all of Hastings. Got up nice and early for a morning swim. Idilic.
RingGo app cost £13.20 for 24 hours. Nice place but it is not locked overnight which means youngsters in cars using it as speedy doughnut performance area. Few other cars turned up at night playing loud music. Evening was quiet enough, we even managed to do little fire in portable fire pit but night was noisy. Note: new rule=No dogs allowed on the beach between this car park and the pier at summer
Stayed here last night. Parked right in front of beach, hearing the waves. AFT somehow survived a lot of wind last night. No other disturbance overnight. Loos nearby open until late evening. Lots to see and do nearby. Parking price not extortionate. Will be back.
This park up is stunning £11 for 24 hrs and we stayed the whole time, lovely old town with lots of old pubs and shops 5 min walk. We couldn’t get any closer to the beach with amazing view. One of our favourite stopovers to date.
A great spot. we pulled up in the dark and there were loads of parking spaces available. We were in the bigger section that’s closer to the beach. The beach had a few people around but was quiet from 11pm. Awoke to a wonderful view with absolutely no grief. We stayed for a bit the day and aid for parking after 7pm. The beach got really busy as it was a cracker of a day.
Great for spending the night if you are under 2.2 m. Cost: 5 hours £7.90 until 9 p.m., then free until 7 a.m. Entry and exit are closed from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The downside: toilets 2 minutes away close at 7 p.m. in summer. Other toilets 6 minutes away close at 10 p.m. The place feels very safe.Translating
staying for the night, great stop, toilets are good and a swim on your doorstep. 24hr maximum.
A great spot with fantastic views of the sea, the old town and fishing community. Be aware that the fish and chip shops are all shut by 9pm so if you're arriving late make sure you're eaten already!
Great overnight carpark spot if you are less than 2.2m tall! Paid 5hrs £7.90 up to 9pm then free until 7am. Gate is locked 11pm -7am. Toilets by entrance to car park but also locked at 7pm. Parking on seafront, fishermen arrive at 5am, so prepare for that. Felt very safe, no rowdy locals, never seen so many fish and chip shops!
