Tree-shaded parking, theft risk

This is a large car park used by motorhomes, with some fully tree-shaded areas. It is useful as a base for the sea: Spiaggia delle Rocchette is 2km away, and the town center is 3km away. There are no services. A recent incident involved forced entry and theft from a camper, so security is a serious concern.

Sunday, 8 June 2025, 12:00 noon. I parked the motorhome and, despite it being beside the road with people constantly passing because a sporting event was taking place, someone broke into the passenger-side door and forced open the storage compartment by damaging the lock. Obviously, the contents of the motorhome disappeared. Not recommended!!!
Good parking area to use as a base for the seaside. Rocchette Beach is 2 km away, or there is a small free beach accessible within a few minutes from the municipal park near the Riva del Sole Resort. We did not sleep here because there was a party at the sports field.
We spent a peaceful night here!
Really huge parking area, with one side completely tree-covered, two minutes by bike from the beach and three kilometres from the town centre. I stayed for five days; apart from a few vans manoeuvring, I was the only one there. No services, but for self-sufficient travellers it is a really excellent place.
