Chateau Clos Séric

A very peaceful location. Great to have water and electricity. Loved our wine tasting with Gilles and of course had to buy a few! Had a picturesque cycle ride through vineyards on quiet roads to Castillon-la-Bataille where you can find restaurants and supermarkets.

A wonderful welcome from Nathalie and Gilles, even in the middle of winter. Their wines are excellent, and I did not hesitate to buy some. A peaceful night with a lovely sunset view. Many thanks to them; I will return when the opportunity arises!

We arrived in the evening (around 21:00 h.) there was nobody. In the morning a man came to ask if we arrived at night and when were we leaving, he was happy to hear that we would leave after breakfast (around 11:00 h.) because of this attitude we felt not very welcome, like being at the wrong place. Maybe is not a place to just spend the night but to spend sometime at the vineyard with the host?

An excellent welcome from Gilles and his wife at a peaceful parking area on their property. A convivial moment over a tasting of their wines. A lovely evening for us. Thank you again, and I highly recommend it.
