16 Verdens Ende, 6400, Sønderborg
Been here?
Free parking on grass beside a small yacht harbour, with a beautiful view over the sound. Recent stays were quiet and comfortable, with an acceptable toilet and a waste bin. Showers require permission from the harbour master, and the town centre is a long walk away.

Great location. We were there completely alone. Slept very well. T&Y, 28 years old.
A very warm welcome and a very clean place with a magnificent view!
Fine little parking lot with a view to the sound. Ok toilet and waste bin. Free of charge. Quiet at night but long walking distance to the Center.
Full, noisy (road, teenagers), and unfortunately some people behave inappropriately (camping, barbecuing, rubbish). Sønderborg is completely overcrowded.
Several teenagers arrived at 2:00 a.m. and caused a disturbance with loud music speakers. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place, although its location directly by the water, with the large bridge, looks truly breathtaking.
A great place to stop for the night and a peaceful sleep. One other van shared with us. We are self contained so did not use any facilities. Agree with previous comment that these are for boat owners. We would not want to upset the locals by using what is not for us. Also the walk to town is fantastic, well worth the effort!
The site itself is quite nice. However, we were already puzzled by the claim of a “free hot shower” and spoke with the harbourmaster. It is not desired that the toilets or shower be used there, as they are intended for boat owners at the berths, who also pay a corresponding fee. Overnight stays alone are tolerated.
Beautiful motorhome pitch on a meadow directly beside Sønderborg’s small marina. There are free toilets and a hot shower at the marina. When we were there, there was simply no one around, so at some point we decided to use the shower; we would have felt better asking, but there was nobody there ?. We walked into town in about 25 minutes in the evening. The waterside path was beautiful ?. If you like quiet places and hot showers, it is a perfect spot.
Beautiful parking area. Close to the sailing club. Sønderborg city is within walking distance. Many berths for local boat owners. Toilets and showers are available at the sailing club, but only if you politely ask.
