Been here?
This is a free, fairly level roadside parking area near the dam and lake, with about 6 spaces for cars or campers. It has only a rubbish bin and is tight for vehicles around 7m. Traffic is clearly audible, especially after 6am, but it works for one night in transit.

We spent one night here. It is quite noisy from the cars, and what frightened us most was a tow-truck driver, but fortunately he was towing someone else. Otherwise, quite okay; only a bin is available.Translating
I stayed there for almost 24 hours. I had no problems, although it was not high season yet (early May). I arrived in the evening, went for a hike the next day and continued on in the evening. Several walkers who park there keep arriving, and of course you can hear the road very clearly. If that doesn’t bother you—great place.Translating
Road too busy.Translating
Just a dusty gravel parking area, slightly sloping, but at least it’s free and you won’t get fined like near the sports field. Traffic is clearly audible, especially after 6. Good for one night while passing through.Translating
By the road and quite loud even at night so not for the light sleepers.Right by damn and walk around the lake.Still a free parking!
Excellent for one night, close to the pedestrian path around the lake. No services.Translating
Really okay for one night. Lots of traffic, sometimes at night too, but it didn’t really bother me. The sunset over Auronzo viewed from the dam is fantastic. A lap around the lake by bike or on foot is also beautiful. No problem as a stopover.Translating
Spent a calm night together with other vans. The park is not big but if you come in the evening it's easier to find a free place at this time of the year. During the day many cars park there. It's really close to the dam and the lake with amazing views!
Parking near the dam, no trucks allowed, on the roadside, easy access, few spaces, no services. For one night or a few hours, I’d say it’s perfectly fine.Translating
