Solitary highland, no services

This is a large stopping area 18 km from Lorica and 14 km from Moccone, offering a solitary landscape experience on the Sila high plain. Overnight stays are possible, but there are no services, so arrive with full fluids. The surroundings include silence, clean air and pastures, with wolves, boars, badgers, weasels and squirrels spotted. Depending on weather conditions, the pass from Montescuro or Lorica may be closed during some periods.
