A completely level area, so spacious that it could accommodate up to 30 campers if desired, with a very beautiful view of Monte Sagro and an excellent view of Carrara. The access road is unpaved for 1 km but is manageable even with a wheelchair.

WARNING: unusual behaviour! A Dacia arrived shortly before sunset, “looking for” something while looking inside and underneath our vehicle. It drove away. Thirty minutes later it returned, using only daytime running lights, and parked away from us. It remained in the vehicle in the dark for an hour. We felt uncomfortable and drove away. In the rear-view mirror, we saw that he left shortly after us too. Be careful!!!

Beautiful spot and unparalleled view on the “marble mountains” of Carrara and the sea. Narrow and winding road to get up there but for reference, we had no issues to get up or down with our Sprinter of 7 meters. There is a persistent fox roaming the area for food so be careful in putting food outside. Please leave no waste or rubbish.

Magnificent place with a superb view. Quiet and level. However, beware: access is very difficult, with very narrow roads. Trucks pass from 8 a.m.

Dreamlike view, lots of space and level pitches. The last kilometre is rather rocky, with some large stones, and unpaved. Nevertheless, no four-wheel drive is needed! It’s worth it!!!

View 10/10 Quietness 10/10 Road 2/10 The road is very beautiful but ends in a path full of stones (marble), not very easy to drive on, but passable. It’s just unpleasant, and passing other vehicles can sometimes be stressful. But if you trust your vehicle and are a good driver, go for it—it’s magnificent.

The difficult approach is definitely worth it. The view is fantastic, and in the evening I was completely alone. There are plenty of level pitches. Please take your rubbish with you, or perhaps even pick up one or two plastic bottles as well. P.S. The view of illuminated Carrara at night is fantastic.

WARNING/THEFT: A man in a beige Fiat Tipo with Italian plates drives around the car parks looking for foreign number plates in order to break into those vehicles. Otherwise, the place is very beautiful, with a great view. Be careful in windy conditions; park further up the mountain rather than near the cliff.

Wow, that's all I can say, such a breathtakingly fantastic place, I'd give it 10/10, high above the clouds, fabulous view of the white marble quarry, which Michelangelo used, down to the town and sea, then a magnificent blanket of cloud, a few hikers during the day, very peaceful, no rubbish bins, so respect the area, well done Park4night

Very large car park with various places to park, superb view. There was no wind at all when we were there. Starting point for several hikes.

An excellent place to sleep and go hiking. Very quiet. A few travellers camping, but the place is very clean (please respect it!!). If you continue along the road, you reach a little higher point before a blocked tunnel, with a breathtaking view over the valley (4x4 useful).

Beautiful view of the Apuan Alps, the quarries and the sea! Accessible by all vehicles; there are only a few metres of very wide gravel road. If it’s windy, you really feel it. Many lovely walking routes start from here.

Wonderful place. At first there were no other campers, so I was a little worried, but we spent the night peacefully with a fantastic view and perfect temperature. Visited in August.

Super beautiful place, little shade but usually a breeze. The view is spectacular. It is busy at weekends, but quiet and pleasantly cool at night. Unfortunately, as so often, there is rubbish lying around, as well as piles of faeces with old wet wipes. I’m here during the holiday season, in mid-August, when there is less activity in the quarries. The noise is very tolerable. I’m staying here for two nights.
