Paid parking, theft risk

Warning!!! In broad daylight they copied the van keys and stole it. We were left without a camper and without the things we had brought for the hike. Don’t park here.

Warning! In broad daylight, at 9 in the morning, they stole our camper. You can’t imagine the shock and everything that has come crashing down on us. Don’t trust anyone who comes close when you’re locking up. They duplicate the key.

Paid parking from 00.00 to 24.00 in the machine, 450 CZK. We arrived after 11 p.m. and I bought the ticket after midnight. A security guard appeared at 7 a.m., and the next one at around 8:30 a.m. No internet, relatively flat.

As described in the previous comment, parking here is chargeable around the clock. According to the sign, motorhomes cost 500 crowns, while the machine says 450. We bought a ticket at around 10 a.m. for 380, since tickets are valid until midnight. Depending on the space, you can stand reasonably level, but it’s right on the road. Even at night, the occasional car drives past. Overall, though, a quiet night. No signal at all!

Night from Friday 9 to Saturday 10 May. Paid parking, beware: a flat rate of 500 CZK from midnight to midnight. We deliberately arrived late (at 7 p.m.) and bought a ticket the next morning at 7 a.m. Only two motorhomes spent the night in this quiet car park. The attendant arrived around 8 a.m.; luckily, we were compliant. Arrive early if you simply want to do the hike to Pravčická brána.

€10 day ticket. The gorge is closed, and Pravčická brána can only be reached by going there and back along the same route. That’s a shame, but otherwise it’s an okay motorhome site.

Unfortunately, the site was closed all day because of a helicopter operation. We had to park 100 metres further down, which was a centimetre-by-centimetre job with an 8-metre camper. It cost €8 for 24 hours. You can easily walk to Pravčická brána in about 60 to 90 minutes. Great with a dog.

We had no problem. We arrived at the parking lot around 5 p.m., where there was no one left. In the morning, around 9/10 o'clock, the parking attendant came and asked for 12 euros. At night, almost no cars were on the road.

Scandalous for motorhomes. We are not welcome. You have to go 5 km further. We parked our 7.5 m vehicle on the main street below, along the river. It’s easily accessible on foot for the hike, and free as well.

Campers are no longer welcome, either for parking or overnight stays. You are directed to Mezni Louka. From there, you can continue on foot or by bus.

Really expensive place to stay. €12 for not even 24 hours. They were very unfriendly as well.

Nice hiking car park; we spent one night here. It’s free from 18:00 to 08:00; during the day, motorhomes pay €12.
